The Bowery Company made its debut at this year’s Downtown Design, the preeminent design fair within the Middle East. The Dubai-based award-winning on-and-offline furniture concept store incorporates the edgy, urban feel of New York with the clean minimal lines of Scandinavian furniture and accessories. The 10th edition of Downtown Design was held from November 8 to 11 on the Waterfront Terrace at Dubai Design District (d3).

The Bowery Company is a seasoned collaborator with renowned Scandinavian interior design brands such as Ferm LIVING, 101CPH, NORR11, Dedar Milano and Fest Amsterdam. At Downtown Design, the company held an exclusive launch of the Audo Copenhagen brand in the Middle East, developed from uniting MENU, The Audo and By Lassen labels. This unveiling was a glimpse into The Bowery Company’s opulent collection of avant-garde design brands that explore the potency of colour, pattern, and texture.

The Bowery Company was founded by Christiane Nasr in 2014. Commenting on her concept, Christiane said: “As a design enthusiast, my passion lies in redefining spaces and experiences. The Bowery Company’s journey has always been about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in interior design. We believe that design has the power to inspire and transform, and our participation in Downtown Design is a testament to our commitment to bringing innovative, global concepts to the region.”

To furnish the design talk booth at Downtown Design, The Bowery Company partnered with the distinguished designer and architect Mohammed Adib from Intercon. Together, they presented an array of exquisite offerings, and the collaboration exudes a fusion of artistry and opulence.

The Bowery Company is committed to expanding its horizons within the region, targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as its next destination. This next milestone in The Bowery Company’s trajectory is marked by a dedicated recruitment drive focused on the local community and fostering an understanding of KSA’s interior design landscape. The primary emphasis currently centres on nurturing B2B relationships and aligning with substantial hospitality projects.
