This summer, Zuma renews its seasonal concepts in Capri, Porto Cervo, Ibiza, and Mykonos. The brand has also opened its French flagship restaurant in Cannes, at the iconic Palm Beach.
The multi-award-winning Zuma dining concept was co-founded by Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney in 2002, as Zuma London. The dining concept features a main kitchen, sushi counter and robata grill offering modern, sophisticated Japanese cuisine. Since its founding, Zuma has successfully spread to several locations across the world. In addition to permanent restaurants, Zuma manages a number of pop-ups and seasonal venues in the most sought-after locations across the globe.
Cannes
Zuma Cannes, the brand’s first French flagship restaurant opened this month. Located within Palm Beach on Pointe Croisette, the restaurant opened its doors just ahead of the Cannes Film Festival. It incorporates Zuma’s signature design language but with new elements that complement the Mediterranean coastline. The restaurant boasts a large and beautiful terrace overlooking the Bay Croisette with retractable sails that billow in the soft wind.
The menu presents dishes exclusive to the Cannes destination, along with some favourites such as the sliced otoro, served with smoked tomato dashi and oscietra caviar. The beef tartare with sancho pepper, myoga and black truffle is exclusively available at Zuma Cannes. Desserts never disappoint and the exotic fruits pavlova with cherry blossom chantilly and mango sorbet is a perfect end to an evening meal on the French Riviera.
Capri
Following a successful debut last year, Zuma returned to Capri Palace Jumeirah. Perched on the cliffside town of Anacapri, Zuma Capri boasts unspoiled vistas of the island with some of the most enviable views of Ischia and the Gulf of Naples.
Guests can expect Zuma’s signature menu as well as a number of exclusive dishes inspired by the famed fragrant Capri lemons, including sliced lobster with lemon and oscietra caviar, and lemon ice cream mochi for dessert.
Porto Cervo, Sardinia
Zuma Porto Cervo is set in the heart of the glittering Costa Smeralda in northern Sardinia. Sitting on the marina, it is the perfect place to watch the visiting yachts sailing in and out of the sheltered bay and the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The cool and contemporary space is the ultimate setting to enjoy the relaxed izakaya concept, designed for sharing with creative cocktails.
Mykonos
Having made its debut in 2022, Zuma Mykonos returns to the isle of winds this summer. The destination, which features a restaurant, lounge, bar and infinity pool, will once again be partnering with fashion house, Louis Vuitton.
New this year will be an exclusive cabana designed by the luxury brand, perfect for watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand and a platter of caviar, exclusive to the Mykonos outpost this season. For the first time, Zuma Mykonos will also be offering brunch, allowing guests to enjoy the day-to-night lifestyle concept all summer long.
Ibiza
Dubbed the place for dinner and cocktails before a night on the town, Zuma’s resident DJ sets the scene for the night ahead. Ranked among the best Japanese restaurants on the island, the open-air terrace on the roof of the Ibiza Gran Hotel boasts the best views of Ibiza’s majestic Dalt Vila walls and marina. The island’s exclusive dishes include tender wagyu beef sushi with oscietra caviar and fresh shrimp carpaccio with spicy lemon dressing and pickled myoga.
At night, the cocktail menu allows guests to finish the day with sunset views on the terrace, enjoying small plates.
