Berluti’s Fall Winter 2018 collection

  • July 20, 2018
  • 1 minute read

The Parisian heritage brand Berluti has revealed its Fall/Winter 2018 collection which reflects the personality of a serene, cool, easy-going self-assured man.

Introspective luxury shines through this collection rich in hidden details and artisanal know-how. A lighter form of tailoring is displayed throughout the collection for a relaxed fit. Seamless outerwear inspired by Berluti’s Alessandro shoe express purity. The leather coats are invisible at the seams, so are the nylon jackets which are handcrafted from a single piece of fabric. Flashes of color and details appear in the linings such as the black cashmere coat which reveals ivory silk pinstripes on the inside. The color palette consists of white, camel and black featuring pops of olive, sky blue, orange and purple which reveal their energy progressively.

Accessories such as the weekender bags and backpacks assembled from two pieces of calf leather are also almost seamless. An XL pouch can be worn as a clutch, nonchalantly over the shoulder, or inside a new pocketed tote bag for a versatile look. Textures include matte and shiny, super soft leather and crocodile.

A new shoe, the entirely seamless Alessandro 0 Cut, brings an attitude to the season’s silhouette with a slightly elevated heel. Ankle boots in Venezia leather and in crocodile are an evolution from last season’s cowboy boots and feature a decorative seam that catches the eye.

A leather and silver cigarette case is the ultimate lifestyle accessory, completing last season’s flask with a touch of impertinence that is deeply entrenched in Berluti’s DNA.
