Calvin Klein Taps SEVENTEEN’s MINGYU for Fall 2025 Denim

Few brands capture the effortless cool of denim quite like Calvin Klein, and this Fall 2025 the house has enlisted K-pop star MINGYU of SEVENTEEN to embody that very spirit. Shot through a 90s-inspired lens, the new campaign reaffirms Calvin Klein’s reign over modern denim, blending nostalgia with a sharp, contemporary edge.

MINGYU, known for his charismatic stage presence and style influence, brings an undeniable energy to the visuals. His ease in front of the camera translates into a campaign that feels both aspirational and accessible, reminding a new generation why Calvin Klein remains synonymous with cultural relevance. It’s denim stripped back to its essence — confident, cool, and distinctly urban.

The standout of the season is the CK Emblem print, a bold reinterpretation of Calvin Klein’s iconic monogram. Applied as an allover graphic pattern, it transforms jeans and trucker jackets into statement pieces, balancing the brand’s minimalist DNA with a daring new twist. The effect is crisp, graphic, and distinctly modern.

Classic silhouettes return with a refreshed sensibility. The 90s Straight Jean, one of the brand’s most iconic fits, is updated in vintage and dark washes, including rich indigo tones that nod to its heritage while keeping the look contemporary. Styled with a loose button-down or a logo tee, it offers a laidback aesthetic that defines off-duty cool.

For those seeking sharper lines, the Slim Jean delivers. Its body-skimming cut creates a sleek silhouette that works seamlessly with a classic tank and a windbreaker — a layered look that blends athletic ease with streetwear polish. It’s a style made for the modern wardrobe, adaptable from day to night.

The Carpenter Jean makes its presence felt with structured lines and a nod to workwear functionality, adding grit to the otherwise sleek collection. Meanwhile, the 90s Taper Jean bridges past and present with its tailored fit, offering a versatile option that captures both retro attitude and contemporary refinement.

More than just a product showcase, the campaign leans into narrative. Directed and photographed by TORSO, the visuals carry an unfiltered edge that resonates with Calvin Klein’s heritage of provocative, culturally tuned storytelling. MINGYU becomes not just the face of the season, but the embodiment of a brand that consistently defines how denim is worn and perceived.

Social media plays a key role in amplifying the campaign. With content rolling out across @calvinklein channels, the brand is tapping into the immediacy of digital culture, ensuring that Fall 2025 denim reaches both long-standing fans and Gen Z audiences discovering Calvin Klein anew.

By choosing MINGYU, Calvin Klein continues its legacy of collaborating with global icons who embody both individuality and influence. This campaign is more than an ode to denim; it’s a declaration that Calvin Klein remains firmly at the intersection of fashion, music, and youth culture — exactly where it has always belonged.
