A slice of the Mediterranean, imbued with Egyptian soul, has arrived in Dubai’s bustling financial heart. Villa Coconut, the beloved lifestyle destination born on the golden shores of El Gouna, makes its international debut at DIFC—merging culinary artistry, soulful design, and curated entertainment into one evocative address. Conceived by TLT Concepts, the hospitality collective behind some of Egypt’s most celebrated destinations, the new venue promises to redefine Dubai’s dining and social scene with a distinctly laid-back, sun-drenched sophistication.

Nestled among DIFC’s sleek skyline, Villa Coconut feels like a serene escape—a place where time slows down, and the rhythm of Mediterranean living takes over. The concept, originally a coastal haven on Egypt’s Red Sea, was celebrated for its effortless blend of music, dining, and design. Its Dubai iteration carries that same warmth, infused with the cosmopolitan pulse of the city. The result is an atmosphere that feels both familiar and new: relaxed yet elevated, intimate yet full of energy.

Founded in 2014 by visionaries Ahmed Hanafi and Mirette Aly, TLT Concepts has evolved into a creative force shaping the region’s contemporary hospitality. From the music-led Rituals Beach Club to the nostalgic Le Sidi Boutique Hotel and the design-forward Can Limon, each destination under its umbrella shares a unifying spirit—one of community, beauty, and the Mediterranean’s unhurried grace. Following its successful debut in Athens Riviera last year with The Lemon Tree & Co., the group now turns its gaze toward Dubai, continuing its global journey of soulful, experience-driven hospitality.

At Villa Coconut DIFC, culinary excellence meets creative storytelling. Under the direction of co-founder and Chief Hospitality Officer Mirette Aly, and with the expertise of Greek chefs Michalis Nourloglou and Panagiotis Zokos, the menu celebrates the simplicity and warmth of Mediterranean cuisine. Expect vibrant, shareable plates and coastal classics prepared with bold ingredients, each dish exuding freshness and flair. The bar program mirrors this philosophy—its cocktails inspired by Mediterranean botanicals, layered textures, and the art of leisurely living.

The design narrative, curated by Mfares & Associates and Alchemy Studio in collaboration with TLT Studio, unfolds as a sensory journey. The interiors capture the spirit of a coastal retreat, with earthy tones, organic curves, and Egyptian craftsmanship woven into every detail. A private entrance, dramatic ceiling heights, and a sculptural marble bar that flows into the terrace create a seamless transition between daytime calm and nighttime vibrancy. It is a space that evolves with the hours—inviting guests to dine, linger, and celebrate the art of being present.

Hidden behind the main dining area lies The Lava Room—Villa Coconut’s secret speakeasy, a golden sanctuary where exclusivity meets imagination. Designed as an intimate cave glowing with molten light, it offers a private retreat for 30 to 40 guests. Perfect for creative gatherings, brand activations, or after-hours encounters, The Lava Room embodies the brand’s ethos of immersive experience and understated drama.

Every corner of Villa Coconut tells a story of balance: between the sensual and the serene, the local and the global, the spontaneous and the refined. It captures the soul of El Gouna’s bohemian charm while echoing Dubai’s vibrant cosmopolitan spirit. Here, hospitality becomes a form of art—an emotional experience shaped by design, sound, and taste.

As the doors open in DIFC, Villa Coconut heralds a new chapter for TLT Concepts—one where Egyptian creativity, Mediterranean allure, and Dubai’s cosmopolitan energy converge. More than a restaurant, it is a state of mind, a modern villa reborn in the city’s heart to remind its guests that true luxury lies in the beauty of connection.
