Taste of Shangri-La 2025: A Global Culinary Odyssey Across 28 Signature Restaurants

This October, the world’s most celebrated flavours come together under the banner of Taste of Shangri-La 2025, a month-long gastronomic celebration that invites discerning travellers to embark on a sensory journey like no other. From the bustling streets of Dubai to the romantic boulevards of Paris, from Abu Dhabi’s opulence to Istanbul’s rich spice markets, Shangri-La’s curated culinary experience promises to redefine fine dining by blending tradition, creativity, and warmth.

Spanning 14 iconic destinations across the Middle East, Europe, the United Kingdom, India, the Indian Ocean, and the Americas, the event will feature 28 signature restaurants from more than 14 luxurious hotels. Each location offers exclusive multi-course menus and signature creations that celebrate local ingredients, cultural heritage, and the artistry of their acclaimed chefs. Guests are welcomed to explore global cuisines without leaving the comfort and elegance of each Shangri-La property.

In Dubai, Shang Palace invites guests to indulge in the essence of Cantonese tradition with refined dishes like King Oyster Mushrooms with Charcoal Steamed Buns and Braised Beef Rib with Cucumber and Bean Curd Sticks in Satay. Meanwhile, Hoi An brings Vietnam’s vibrant flavours to life, offering Bánh Xèo crispy pancakes and Chicken Quang Noodles, paired with crunchy rice crackers, peanuts, and fresh herbs—a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that capture the spirit of the region.

In Abu Dhabi, Bord Eau showcases sophisticated French gastronomy, where delicate plates such as Rose de Saumon with Green Apple, Miso Gel and Creamed Dashi Broth or Slow-Cooked Turbot with Saffroned Mussel Sauce, Confit Ratte Potatoes and Seaweed invite guests to savour elegance on every plate. Over in London, T?NG at Shangri-La The Sharddraws inspiration from seasonal British produce, serving delights like Cured Loch Duart Salmon and Char Siu-style Pork Belly, seamlessly bridging global techniques with local abundance.

Paris embraces refinement at La Bauhinia, where guests are treated to Semi-Cooked Foie Gras with Fruit Chutney, while Shang Palace layers Cantonese craftsmanship with Parisian flair through offerings such as Francilien Barbecued Pork with Honey. In Istanbul, IST TOO at Shangri-La Bosphorus mirrors the city’s culinary diversity with Seared Scallops with Roasted Eggplant and Red Pepper Purée and Grilled Rack of Lamb with Herbed Demi-Glace, alongside Cantonese classics like Steamed Bao with Crispy Peking Duck and Wok-Seared Lobster with Tobiko Caviar.

Each participating hotel’s dining experience is an invitation to traverse continents, cultures, and culinary traditions. Whether it’s the fragrant spices of the Indian Ocean or the refined sauces of Europe, Taste of Shangri-La offers guests an immersive journey into the heart of world cuisines, making every meal a celebration of flavour, memory, and connection.
