Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori, the authentic Japanese restaurant headed by Michelin Star Chef Akmal, has unveiled an enticing array of dishes to its award-winning menu this month. Goldfish’s new offerings are a blend of Chef Akmal’s innovation and Japanese tradition, with a focus on premium and fresh ingredients from Japan.

In addition to the wide range of mouth-watering starters, including the signature Corn & Mizuna Salad, Bluefin Tuna and Goldfish Caviar Bowl, and many more, guests can now opt for the fresh Tuna & Guac Dip served with crunchy crackers to start, the crispy Lady Finger & Nasu, and the Snapper Ceviche salad.

Sushi and ramen lovers can now indulge in two new additions, including the Unagi Maki roll prepared with grilled Unagi, avocado, sesame, wasabi mayo, and the appetising Tori Ramen served with Onsen egg, chicken char siu, and drizzled in chilli oil. Meat enthusiasts can look forward to the tenderloin, topped with flavourful Cajun spice and Japanese radish, as well as the grilled octopus dish presented with kizami, Japanese curry, and artichoke puree.

To complement the dining experience, guests can select from a variety of seven special mocktails curated by the team in-house. These include the Goldfish Spritz, Passion Cooler prepared with passionfruit, and the new Ginberi infused with gooseberry fruit. To end the meal, there is an impressive creamy Matcha Cheesecake, topped with cheese mousse and almonds.

“We’re very excited to be introducing these timeless favourites to the menu,” said Chef Akmal, Head Chef at Goldfish. “In each dish, we’ve incorporated a combination of traditional, flavourful ingredients and spices, to ensure the essence of Japanese cuisine is presented, whilst maintaining Goldfish’s unique and signature twist.”

Since opening its doors in 2021, Goldfish has firmly established itself, having earned recognition in the prestigious Michelin Guide under the Bib Gourmand category consecutively in 2022 and 2023. The restaurant has also been discovered by 50 Best Discovery, and was listed in the Gault & Millau UAE 2022, 2023, and 2024 Guide.

Located at the Galleria Mall, along Al Wasl Road, Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori is open daily from 12pm to 12am. Daily delivery from 12pm to 11pm is available on Deliveroo.
