“Eat Well, Feel Well” at the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

  • 3 minute read

“In the world of great luxury hotels, the old is now the new” — that is what the experts have to say when speaking about hotels with tradition and history such as the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona. Since its opening in 1918, this hotel has been owned by the Soldevila-Casals family and has played an active role in Barcelona’s architecture, society, and lifestyle for the last 100 years. It is a truly historic hotel, located at the heart of the stylish Passeig de Gràcia, which in its heyday played host to Ernest Hemingway and Antonio Machado.

The Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

Through continuous innovation in creating unique experiences for travellers, Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona has teamed up with Alôft Health Boutique, a new wellness space concept in Barcelona, Spain, to create a new Majestic Experience called “Eat Well, Feel Well”.

This new package combines luxury retreats with preventive medicine and healthy lifestyle methods, offering guests a distinctive short holiday that regenerates their body while enriching their time with everything that the magical city has to offer.

The “Eat Well, Feel Well” experience begins with a full diagnosis carried out by Alôft Health Boutique; the results will then be analysed to determine the composition of minerals and trace elements in the body along with the toxicity level, through the skin. Based on the results, an experienced doctor will create a customised diet for the guest, depending on the individual’s body type, in line with the Restaurant SOLC menu, providing travellers with wholesome and sophisticated culinary options.

Guests will benefit from the wide range of locally-sourced organic ingredients, crafted into decadent dishes and inspired by the traditional Catalan cuisine, ensuring the diet programme is an exceptional gourmand experience that adds the Majestic’s flavours to a fitness regime.

To complement a healthy and exquisite diet, Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona offers a tranquil atmosphere in the wellness facilities to help the overall well-being of a guest. The professional team at the spa provides an array of innovative treatments using bespoke natural products combined with therapeutic methods, creating a sanctuary of pure luxury and indulgence. The Majestic Fitness Centre features all the essential exercise equipment to keep guests active and in shape, further helping them achieve their fitness goals.

With Barcelona being one of the most popular cities in the world, these experiences are beautifully crafted to ensure every guest, even returning ones and Barcelona loyals will be surprised along their stay.

The ‘Eat Well, Feel Well’ experience is priced at around USD 512 and includes: The health boutique exam and the Restaurant SOLC menu.
