The Swiss atelier, S by Salanitro presents a world first – a collection of precious electrical wall switches, crafted like works of art, and adorned with diamonds and precious gemstones.
These Swiss hand-crafted switches originated from a spark between Pierre Salanitro, S by Salanitro founder, and his friend Niki Pirker, second-generation owner and director of Pirker Electricité. Established in Geneva over five decades ago, Pirker Electricité is known for top-level expertise in electrical installations. Pierre and Niki have combined their technical and aesthetic talents to bring this unique product line to life.
Since its inception in 2023 in Geneva, S by Salanitro has quickly established itself as a reference in the luxury industry for designing and producing unexpected objects. Pierre Salanitro founded S by Salanitro as a sub-brand of his Geneva-based Salanitro watch manufacturing company.
Founded in 1990 as a stone-setting specialist company for the Swiss watch industry, Salanitro has grown to offer a broad range of services, from design to serial or customised watch manufacturing. Pierre Salanitro began his career as a gem-setter for some of Switzerland’s biggest watch brands.
Both Pierre and Niki travel extensively and serve a highly demanding international clientele. Their creations, born from their imagination and creativity, redefine everyday elegance and sophistication, transforming functional objects into true works of art designed to grace the world’s most beautiful villas and properties.
“Creating these switches is also a way of bringing innovation to the rather conservative sector of electrical fittings and switches,” explains Pierre Salanitro. “Designed for exclusive locations like wine cellars, mountain chalets, yachts, villas, hotels, and luxury boutiques, these creations are far more than mere functional elements; they are works of art in their own right. Each switch is custom-designed, offering an endless array of artistic possibilities and patterns to perfectly complement the style of any space.”
