Salvatore Ferragamo’s creative director Paul Andrew pays homage to founder Salvatore Ferragamo, and his muses Katherine Hepburn and Greta Garbo with the rebirth of an icon for Pre-Fall 2018.
Youthful, active, cultured, dynamic and quietly luxurious – these are the codes of the new mocassin, whose metallic hardware is, for the first time, reversible from silver to gold finish, from matt to shiny – a continual thread of fluidity not only in-form but also in function. The tubular construction adds flexibility to the ultra-soft materials catering to the lifestyle of the Ferragamo man. The Double Gancini emblem finds itself displayed prominently on the vamp. The palette includes black, lipstick, vicuna, winter rose, gold and silver.
Design Elements for men’s collection range from calfskin to velvet or horse fur. The sole is an evolution of the original design with a robust rubber para.
The collection debuts end of June globally and online at www.ferragamo.com.
