In the gentle light of early June, as the golden coastline of Abu Dhabi begins to shimmer with the arrival of summer, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental extends an invitation—not simply to stay, but to reconnect. An Eid to Remember, the resort’s bespoke Eid Al-Adha experience running from 6 to 9 June 2025, is more than a celebratory package. It is a carefully woven tapestry of family traditions, culinary artistry, mindful wellness, and sunlit adventure, wrapped in the Palace’s signature elegance.

Set against a backdrop of manicured gardens, over 200 fountains, and a private beach lapped by the turquoise Arabian Gulf, the Palace is a world within a world. The Eid offering includes daily breakfast and a choice of lunch or dinner at Vendôme, where indoor refinement meets the tranquillity of landscaped views. Guests are also greeted with a thoughtful in-room amenity on the day of Eid—an intimate gesture that brings the spirit of generosity directly into the guest’s private sanctuary.

For those visiting as Fans of M.O., the experience deepens with added privileges, blending Mandarin Oriental’s hallmark service with an added sense of personalisation.

Children find their own kingdom at the Kids’ Palace—an architectural echo of Emirates Palace itself, reimagined at a child’s scale. Here, between the private beach and a shimmering children’s pool, adventure is curated with care. A central spiral slide acts as both symbol and centrepiece, connecting three levels of imaginative play. Inside, children encounter everything from VR rides and toy kitchens to music rooms and craft corners. Themed activities, cooking classes, and PlayStation tournaments offer the kind of structured freedom that transforms a family holiday into lifelong memory.

Adventure extends far beyond the Palace’s doors. At the Water Sports Centre, the sea becomes a playground powered by renewable energy, where guests can shift from the adrenaline of wakesurfing and banana boat rides to the gentle rhythm of kayaking or paddleboarding. Every encounter is supported by expert instructors, ensuring safety without diminishing spontaneity.

For those drawn to calm over current, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental offers a cocoon of restorative peace. Here, the past and present dance gently—Oriental Qi therapies and Royal Hammam rituals meet modern treatments by Tata Harper, OTO CBD, and Maison d’Asa. With nine treatment suites, a signature children’s programme, and bespoke offerings for men, the spa is less a service and more a sanctuary—sensitive to every nuance of guest need.

But it is perhaps at the table where Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental speaks most clearly of its vision: to elevate the everyday. Across the resort, culinary destinations unfold like chapters in a well-composed novel. Vendôme anchors the story with global familiarity, while Talea by Antonio Guida introduces guests to the finer articulations of Italian craft, the plates balanced in both flavour and restraint. Broadway redefines brasserie culture with brash charm and weekly rituals of brunch and roast. And Episodes Tea Apothecary, with its honey sourced from onsite beehives, offers the kind of detail that reveals a brand deeply attuned to narrative and nuance.

For something more regionally rooted, Lebanese Terrace presents an AED 350 Eid set menu against a garden-framed backdrop, while Strawfire—a bold Japanese concept by Ross Shonhan—delivers a theatrical Supper Club Dinner experience priced at AED 550, offered exclusively over Eid.

Whether your Eid calls for play, pause, or something in between, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental meets it with an answer. The architecture may be palatial, but the energy is warm, inviting, and human. Rates begin at AED 2,260, inclusive of taxes—an invitation not only to visit, but to belong.
