Doha’s dynamic dining scene welcomes a refreshing new rhythm with The Salt Road Doha at Andaz Doha launching a lineup of curated weekly experiences inspired by global culinary traditions and the essential element of salt. Led by renowned South African chefs Craig Cormack and Beau du Toit, the restaurant pays homage to salt’s cultural and culinary heritage with flavour-driven menus and interactive dining set in a vibrant, design-forward space.

Whether indulging in the decadent Weekend Brunch on Fridays—complete with Josper-grilled favourites like Australian Striploin and Glazed Chicken Sosaties—or gathering friends for Braai Nights every Thursday, The Salt Road Doha ensures every meal tells a story. Midweek comes alive with Her Day Out, offering ladies three glasses of grapes and complimentary bites from Monday to Wednesday, while Afterwork at TSR provides the perfect sunset unwind with 50% off beverages and free Salt Road bites from Monday to Thursday.

Business professionals can enjoy a refined three-course Business Lunch Sunday to Thursday, featuring dishes like Salt Baked Celeriac Soup, Sea Bass Fillet, and a Chef’s Selection of ice creams. For those seeking variety, the restaurant’s à la carte menu, available daily, brings a creative twist to global dishes such as Seared Seaweed Tuna, Brisket Pastrami, and South African Melktert—all crafted with storytelling and technique at the core.

Located on the ground floor of Andaz Doha, The Salt Road blends soulful cooking with contemporary design and a deep-rooted philosophy of craft, connection, and cultural resonance. It’s a place where every day of the week is an opportunity to explore something deliciously different.

The Salt Road’s immersive culinary concept is rooted in the ancient significance of salt as both a preservative and a symbol of hospitality. This ethos is woven into every detail, from the restaurant’s tactile interiors to the thoughtful plating of each dish. Guests are not only invited to dine but to embark on a sensory journey that celebrates the richness of global flavours and the shared joy of good food.

Chef Craig Cormack and Chef Beau du Toit bring with them a wealth of international experience and a deep respect for ingredients. Their focus on cooking over fire, the use of Himalayan salt blocks, and the interplay of texture and seasoning give each dish a distinctive signature. Highlights include their aged meats, expertly seared on the Josper grill, and a playful dessert menu where even the sweet courses honour the salt road narrative.

The beverage program is equally elevated, with an emphasis on pairings that enhance each course’s complexity. Guests can expect curated wines, artisanal cocktails, and mocktails that mirror the restaurant’s inventive spirit. Whether for a casual lunch, a refined dinner, or a celebratory evening, The Salt Road Doha offers a setting that’s as inviting as it is stylish.

As Doha’s dining landscape continues to evolve, The Salt Road Doha emerges as a destination that is both grounded in heritage and forward-thinking in its approach. Perfect for both intimate meals and group gatherings, its weekly calendar invites guests to return time and again for new tastes, new stories, and an ever-welcoming table.
