Banyan Tree Dubai is bringing the vibrant spirit of Thailand to the shores of Bluewaters with the launch of its first-ever Thai Fest, an immersive evening celebration taking place on 23 October at Saffron. Blending culinary artistry, culture, and wellness, the festival promises a sensory journey through Thailand’s flavours and traditions, all reimagined with Banyan Tree’s signature elegance. Guests will step into the resort’s lush gardens, greeted by the warmth of Thai hospitality and the soft rhythm of traditional music, before embarking on a night that captures the joy and colour of Thai life.
The evening’s culinary experience will be curated by the Banyan Tree Dubai Culinary Team in collaboration with Chef Tina Tidarat Luangthep, Chef de Cuisine of Saffron at Banyan Tree AlUla. Together, they will present a vibrant collection of live cooking stations inspired by Thailand’s bustling markets—from wok-fired Pad Thai and sizzling satay grills to aromatic curries and delicate tempura. Guests can explore the Raw Bar with fresh oysters and soup shots or participate in the hands-on Yum Garden, where they can craft their own herbal spring rolls bursting with authentic flavours.

Every corner of Thai Fest celebrates the craftsmanship and community spirit of Thai cuisine. The Curry Bowl Experience invites guests to wander through a street market-style set-up, while the Coconut Ice Cream Bar offers a nostalgic finale with customisable toppings like sticky rice, peanuts, and condensed milk. Complementing these culinary delights are refreshing pours of Chang beer and cocktails made with Haku Vodka, Roku Gin, and Toki Whisky, ensuring every sip carries a taste of the tropics.
Beyond gastronomy, Thai Fest embodies Banyan Tree’s dedication to holistic wellbeing and cultural authenticity. Guests can unwind with mini spa massages by Banyan Tree Spa therapists, allowing the essence of relaxation to weave seamlessly into the evening. The event’s design, adorned with Thai lanterns and traditional décor, transforms Saffron’s open-air deck into a world of colour and connection, where Dubai’s desert breeze meets the serenity of Southeast Asia.

Families are also invited to join the festivities, with a dedicated children’s area offering creative workshops and Thai crafts, ensuring the celebration is as inclusive as it is enchanting. Whether discovering new flavours or watching little ones explore Thai traditions, every guest will find a moment of joy that lingers long after the evening ends.
Priced at AED 480 per person, Thai Fest welcomes guests of all ages, with children between six and fifteen receiving 50% off and those under six dining for free. For those who miss the event, the Saffron pop-up will continue through early 2026, offering a recurring invitation to experience Thailand’s warmth, culinary artistry, and cultural depth within Banyan Tree Dubai’s tranquil setting.

More than a one-night celebration, Thai Fest reflects Banyan Tree Dubai’s philosophy of transforming hospitality into art—an experience that stirs emotion, connects cultures, and celebrates life’s most vibrant moments. Set against the resort’s sweeping sea views, it is a reminder that the spirit of Thailand, with all its generosity and grace, can find a home wherever there is a shared love of beauty, flavour, and human connection.
