The RS 6 Avant GT is the embodiment of Audi’s pursuit of perfection, blending the soul of a race car with the elegance and comfort of a premium estate. The exclusivity of the RS 6 Avant GT is underscored by its limited production run of 660 models, each one bearing a unique serial number, thereby ensuring its place as a collector’s item.

The RS 6 Avant GT is also a testament to Audi’s rich motorsport legacy. It draws inspiration from the apprentice project RS 6 GTO concept in 2020, which itself pays homage to the legendary Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car. Like the RS 6 GTO, the RS 6 Avant GT project showcases the innovative spirit of Audi’s apprentices, who, under the guidance of seasoned engineers and designers, have contributed to the creation of this vehicle.

Audi RS 6 Avant GT

As one beholds the RS 6 Avant GT, its distinctive appearance commands attention. The vehicle’s design is a harmonious blend of form and function, characterized by a striking front end, a redesigned hood made of carbon fibre, and integrated air outlets that not only serve an aesthetic purpose but also enhance performance by improving brake cooling. The absence of roof rails and the inclusion of carbon fibre in the fenders and side skirts accentuate the vehicle’s sporty silhouette, making it a paragon of modern automotive design.

The interior of the vehicle is a luxurious sanctuary, with high-quality and exclusive colour combinations. The predominantly black interior is enhanced by numerous accents in the exclusive colour combination of red and copper. The stitching on the steering wheel, the sides of the centre console, the centre armrest and door armrests and the floor mats with “RS 6 GT” lettering all feature these colour accents.

The armrests, the dashboard, the centre console including its sides, and the door waist rails are upholstered in Dinamica black microfiber, while the decorative inlays are covered in Dinamica deep black microfiber. The decorative inlays are also available in an open-pore carbon twill structure as an option. The seat belts catch the eye with their full crimson-red colour. As a special highlight, the centre console features the car’s serial number in the limited run of 660 models.

The new RS bucket seats in a leather-Dinamica combination and the “RS 6 GT” lettering right below the headrests also feature this colour scheme. The honeycomb stitching in the centre of the seat shimmers in Express Red, while that on the outer seam of the bucket seat is finished in copper.

Audi RS 6 Avant GT

Under the hood, the RS 6 Avant GT is an engineering marvel, powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers an astonishing 630 PS and 850 Nm of torque. This powerplant, in conjunction with a reworked quattro sport differential and lightweight adjustable coilover suspension, ensures a driving experience that is as exhilarating as it is refined.

The RS 6 Avant GT uses the latest version of the locking centre differential. Particularly light and compact, it distributes engine power to the front and rear axle at a ratio of 40:60. If slippage occurs, more drive torque is automatically applied to the axle with better traction – up to 70 per cent can flow to the front axle and up to 85 per cent to the rear axle. The reworked centre differential improves driving dynamics, ensures noticeably more precise cornering, and makes for less understeer at the limit.

The final assembly of the RS 6 Avant GT takes place at the Böllinger Höfe, a facility known for its small-series production of Audi’s most exclusive models, such as the Audi R8, Audi e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT.

The final assembly of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT is carried out by seven experienced employees at three assembly stations set up especially for this model. All GT-specific features are fitted by hand to each model, including the hood, the fenders, the rocker panels, the double wing, the front and rear aprons, and the adjustable coilover suspension.

Audi RS 6 Avant GT

The Audi RS 6 Avant GT represents a confluence of history, performance, luxury and exclusivity. It is a symbol of Audi’s legacy, a beacon of innovation, and a testament to the craftsmanship and passion that drives the brand.
