Maserati has officially inaugurated its new Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, an exclusive space within its historic Modena facility dedicated to the art of automotive customization. Designed to push the boundaries of bespoke luxury, this innovative workshop allows customers to transform their Maserati vehicles into truly one-of-a-kind masterpieces. The unveiling was marked by the introduction of the MC20 Cielo “Less is More…?”, a stunning testament to the brand’s commitment to individuality and craftsmanship.

The iconic Trident emblem, originally inspired by the statue of Neptune in Bologna’s Piazza Maggiore, has symbolized Maserati’s dedication to performance and elegance since its first appearance on the Tipo 26 at the Targa Florio. In its centennial year, Maserati reaffirms its commitment to heritage and innovation by expanding its Fuoriserie program, ensuring every customer can craft a vehicle that reflects their unique vision.
Santo Ficili, Maserati CEO, emphasized the brand’s ethos, stating, “Maserati is synonymous with Italian luxury, and celebrating this concept at the highest level means putting the customer’s desires first in everything we do. The new Officine Fuoriserie Maserati is a continuation of our legacy in artisanship and innovation, offering an unparalleled, tailor-made experience.”

Fuoriserie embodies Maserati’s bespoke craftsmanship, providing customers with limitless possibilities in designing their dream vehicle. The program offers two primary levels of customization:
- Curated Collections – Fuoriserie Corse and Fuoriserie Futura
- Corse Collection: A tribute to Maserati’s motorsport legacy, featuring racing-inspired liveries, heritage color palettes, anodized finishes, and vintage-inspired leather interiors.
- Futura Collection: Designed for forward-thinkers, incorporating cutting-edge materials, high-tech finishes, and innovative two-tone bodywork options.
- Bespoke Customization – For those seeking complete exclusivity, this level allows customers to collaborate with Maserati’s design team to create one-of-a-kind, personalized models.
Located within Maserati’s historic Modena plant, the Officine Fuoriserie Maserati spans 4,000 square meters and integrates the latest technology with traditional artisanship. Key highlights include:

- Dedicated Customer Lounge: A refined space where clients can explore materials, finishes, and configurations with expert guidance.
- Advanced Paint Shop: Featuring an automated system capable of producing 24 vehicles per day with a selection of 24 evolving color options, including bespoke hues inspired by Maserati’s Racing and Heritage DNA.
- Skilled Workforce: At full capacity, the project will engage up to 110 specialists dedicated to delivering the highest standards of craftsmanship.
To commemorate the launch of Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, the brand unveiled the MC20 Cielo “Less is More…?”, a bespoke one-off model inspired by the Bauhaus art movement. This exceptional vehicle showcases a meticulously designed livery featuring geometric shapes in a dynamic interplay of colors, including Blu Corse Matte, Rosso Capannelle Gloss, Giallo Avia Pervia Gloss, and Bianco Audace.
Artistic detailing extends to the vehicle’s 20-inch Corsa Forgiati Opachi wheels, where each rim exhibits unique color combinations. The design pays homage to avant-garde artists like Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee, blending expressive contrasts with Maserati’s hallmark sophistication.
The introduction of Officine Fuoriserie Maserati signals a new chapter in Maserati’s rich history, reaffirming its dedication to personalization, luxury, and Italian craftsmanship. By offering an immersive customization experience, Maserati continues to redefine the concept of bespoke automotive excellence, allowing each customer to create a vehicle that is as unique as their imagination.
