Speed, style, and heritage converge in one of Europe’s most extraordinary automotive events of the year. RM Sotheby’s is set to offer the Tailored for Speed collection—an unparalleled single-owner ensemble of 42 supercars, hypercars, and competition vehicles—at the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zürich on 11 October 2025. This meticulously curated collection brings together rare and historically significant machines, each with its own story, each crafted for adrenaline and refinement.

Among the most compelling offerings is the only complete trio of Ferrari’s XX series ever assembled. The collection boasts the FXX, 599XX, and FXX K, each representing cutting-edge track technology and bespoke craftsmanship. These cars are not only a celebration of Ferrari’s racing pedigree but also of its evolution, with models upgraded to Evoluzione specifications and maintained by the factory’s Corse Clienti division, ready to be enjoyed by their next passionate custodians.

The collection’s competition cars are equally awe-inspiring. A standout is the 1998 Ferrari 333 SP, a race car with an illustrious history that includes overall victories at Barcelona and Monza during the 1999 Sports Racing World Cup. Certified by Ferrari Classiche, this rare example is eligible for premier racing events and embodies both speed and endurance—a trophy of the racetrack’s golden years.

For those seeking cutting-edge performance, the hypercar selection reads like a who’s who of automotive excellence. Ferrari’s LaFerrari Coupe and Aperta, the Tailor Made Daytona SP3, and Pagani’s Huayra Roadster BC and Utopiaset the tone with limited production runs and bespoke designs. Also featured are Lamborghini’s Sián FKP 37, Bentley’s GT3-R, and Bugatti’s Chiron Super Sport, each exemplifying engineering at its peak.

The road car segment is equally breathtaking. Collectors will find jaw-dropping entries like the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC, a track-honed machine with fewer than 550 km, and the Ferrari Monza SP1, a nearly as-new bespoke masterpiece with only 78 kilometres on the clock. For enthusiasts eager to invest in rare automotive craftsmanship, this collection offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Many of the vehicles are offered without reserve, allowing collectors worldwide to compete freely for these rare gems. The sale is expected to draw serious attention, with cars spanning over 50 years of history, representing milestones in both racing and luxury design.

More than a sale, Tailored for Speed is a celebration of passion, precision, and performance. Each car in the collection has been selected not just for its specifications, but for its story—whether it be a record-setting win or an emblem of bespoke artistry. Together, they form a narrative of speed that transcends generations.

As the auction approaches, car lovers and collectors alike await the opportunity to own machines that represent the very best of the automotive world. With RM Sotheby’s expertise and legacy of record-breaking sales, Tailored for Speedpromises to be a defining moment in the collector car community, where every detail counts and history meets horsepower.
