Flavours in Bloom: Blume Unveils a Lush Summer Menu Inspired by the Silk Road and Mediterranean Gardens

As summer temperatures soar in Dubai, Blume offers a refreshing invitation to slow down and savour the season in style. With two design-led destinations—one perched along the leafy promenade of Dubai Marina Walk, the other nestled within the glamour of Fashion Avenue at Dubai Mall—Blume’s newly launched Summer Menu delivers a vibrant celebration of flavour, fragrance, and flair.

Drawing inspiration from the verdant charm of Mediterranean gardens and the sensual allure of the Silk Road, this seasonal offering is both light and luxuriously layered. Each dish is crafted to soothe the summer palate: cooling, expressive, and unmistakably indulgent. At the heart of the menu lies a deep respect for detail—an approach where even the simplest salad is elevated with a bold dressing or seasonal surprise, and every mocktail becomes a moment.

Begin with Blume’s new array of artisan mocktails, where fresh fruit meets botanical elegance. The Crystal Coco Ladabrings creamy tropical comfort, while the Duchess dazzles with citrusy sharpness and floral undertones. For a playful touch, Candy Bubbles evokes nostalgic sweetness with its sparkling bubblegum notes—a drink designed as much to delight as to refresh.

The salad offerings are a journey through sun-drenched flavours. The Mykonos Salad, with its Uzbek tomatoes and Ezine cheese, is bright and summery, while the Shirazi Salad brings a refreshing tang with mint and pomegranate vinaigrette. For those drawn to sweet-savory profiles, the Goat Cheese Salad, layered with blueberries and pecans, is delicate yet deeply satisfying.

Seafood takes centre stage in the sushi and raw dishes, each plate a composition of luxury and craftsmanship. The Golden Maki—a standout—glitters with yuzu jelly, caviar, black truffle, and edible gold leaf, a decadent nod to Blume’s flair for the theatrical. The Hamachi Usuzukuri offers a more restrained elegance with green apple and ponzu, while the Octopus Flame, bold with chimichurri and confit tomato, adds a touch of fire to the sea.

To finish, the dessert menu is both comforting and exuberant. The Baked Alaska, with layers of salted caramel and vanilla meringue, arrives with drama, while the Lemon Cream Brûlée balances richness with citrus zing. The Mixed Berries Platter, a riot of colour and freshness, feels like a final toast to the season.

Blume’s two Dubai locations provide distinct backdrops for the summer experience. At Dubai Marina, a cooled terrace allows guests to dine alfresco, surrounded by lush foliage and a breeze of quiet glamour. At Dubai Mall, the interiors evoke vintage rail travel—plush velvet booths, golden lighting, and theatrical design touches that conjure the spirit of adventure. From Thursday to Sunday evenings, DJ Aly sets the tone with soulful house and lounge beats, transforming the space into a late-summer reverie.

This is not just dining; it’s a seasonal escape woven with taste and texture, music and mood. Blume’s Summer Menu captures the essence of travel, leisure, and indulgence—right in the heart of Dubai.
