The InterContinental at Dubai Festival City is all set to offer Iftar and Suhoor experiences specially curated for the occasion at its restaurants.
Anise will take guests on a culinary journey around the world. In addition to serving Arabian delicacies from Levantine and North Africa, the restaurant will also host eight interactive live cooking stations offering Thai, Indian, Japanese, Levantine, and Arabic dishes. This year’s highlights include Ouzi, a braised whole lamb, authentic Saj bread by ‘Mama Jamal’ with 48 years of bread-making experience, Arabic pastries by Chef Chadi Abou Fakher, and Arabic-flavoured ice cream. The venue’s outdoor terrace offers views across Dubai Creek, along with entertainment by the Imagine show – the immersive laser, light and water multi-sensory extravaganza on Festival Bay, every night after sunset.
Karam Al Bahr – continuing the legacy of Karam Beirut – will offer an Iftar menu with authentic Lebanese offerings, including soups, a variety of hot and cold Mezzeh, mixed grill, Lebanese sweets and refreshing Ramadan drinks. The traditional restaurant also stocks a wide range of fresh fish. A family-friendly venue, Karam Al Bahr offers a great view from the outdoor terrace along with shisha, or a warm Mediterranean ambience when indoors.
Zaytoun will host Iftar as well as Suhoor. Overlooking Dubai Creek and the Burj Khalifa, Zaytoun serves up Arabian delicacies along with Levantine favourites and international flavours. The Mashawi Station offers a selection of freshly grilled meats and seafood. For Suhoor, the restaurant offers cold and warm Mezzeh with fresh bread, delicacies from the grill such as lamb skewers, and mixed seafood platters that can be ordered à la carte. The dessert station features Baklawa, Kunafa, Umm Ali and much more. To heighten the sense of occasion, a traditional Oud player will be performing in-house.
