This summer, Bastion at Jumeirah Beach Hotel invites guests to embrace the spirit of the French Riviera with The Riviera Experience, a refined four-course indoor menu designed to transport diners from Dubai’s heat to the breezy charm of Southern France. Available daily from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM for AED 395 per person, the culinary journey features inspired coastal dishes paired with premium bubbly or expertly crafted mocktails.
The experience opens with a fresh take on seasonal starters, including Le Grand Seafood Carpaccio enhanced with ginger, lime, and pomegranate; the creamy Le Flan Vert, a green pea flan with Gruyère fondue and confit tomatoes; and the indulgent St. Jacques à la Rivière, a pan-seared scallop with artichoke cream and chickpea polenta. Each option is crafted to evoke the textures and colours of the Côte d’Azur.
For the pasta course, guests can choose between Plin Ravioli with tender chicken, black truffle, and Parmesan fondue; Provençale Chitarra, with sun-kissed flavours and pine nut crumble; or the elegant Langoustine Risotto, served with bisque, zucchini sauce, and a touch of lime zest.


Main course options include the comforting Joue de Veau, braised veal cheek with potato purée and asparagus; the classic Bouillabaisse steeped in saffron and seafood richness; and Orata Papillotte, baked sea bream with marinated fennel and baby spinach. Each plate is both rustic and elevated—just like a long summer night on the Mediterranean coast.
To end the experience, desserts pay tribute to both French and Italian traditions. Guests can indulge in the warm Apricot Clafoutis or enjoy the vibrant citrus notes of the Limoncello Cake, a light sponge cake brushed with syrup.
