Dubai, UAE – Kinara by Vikas Khanna at JA Lake View Hotel unveils its latest gastronomic venture, Forgotten Flavours, a quarterly dining series that brings India’s rich culinary traditions to life. The series debuts on Friday, October 3rd, with Utsav – Festivals of India, a multi-course journey celebrating the country’s most evocative festivals, curated by Michelin-acclaimed Chef Vikas Khanna and paired with exceptional selections from Sula Wines.

The series promises more than a meal; it is an immersive experience that blends storytelling, artistry, and heritage. Guests will not only taste dishes reimagined from India’s diverse regions but will also engage with the essence of each festival, guided by Chef Khanna’s expert craftsmanship. With only 60 seats available, this intimate evening offers the rare opportunity to meet the chef in person and receive a bespoke keepsake and a menu that details the stories, recipes, and traditions behind each dish.

Kinara, celebrated as one of Dubai’s premier Indian fine-dining destinations, transforms the dining experience through its striking interiors, aromatic spice displays, and meticulously curated ambience. The restaurant’s new series, Forgotten Flavours, aims to revive culinary traditions from across India, with future editions exploring The Royal Kitchens of India, Peninsular Cuisine, Nomadic Food Traditions, and Forgotten Grains. Each experience will feature collaborative grape pairings, curated menus, and captivating presentations that celebrate India’s gastronomic diversity.

Sula Wines, India’s most awarded grape brand, complements the evening with expertly selected pairings. Known for pioneering varietals like Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel in India, Sula emphasizes sustainability through solar-powered vineyards, local grape sourcing, and recyclable packaging. Their The Source range represents the pinnacle of the brand’s dedication to quality and innovation.

Launching in Kinara’s sixth year, Forgotten Flavours sets a new benchmark in Dubai’s fine-dining scene. It is a celebration of artistry, authenticity, and the cultural richness of India, brought to life by Chef Vikas Khanna. For culinary enthusiasts, the series promises an unforgettable journey into India’s heritage, one meticulously crafted course at a time.
