La Petite Maison Riyadh, the beloved French Mediterranean restaurant nestled in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s capital, has reopened its doors this April with a brand-new look and a selection of exquisite new dishes. Known for its relaxed elegance and consistently exceptional cuisine, the restaurant now welcomes guests into an even warmer, more vibrant space that captures the spirit of the French Riviera with effortless sophistication.

Every detail of the renovation has been thoughtfully reimagined to enhance the charm that has made LPM a favourite among Riyadh’s discerning diners. Drawing inspiration from the Côte d’Azur, the interiors have been refreshed by the creative team at Sagrada, blending bold colours, rich textures, and artistic flourishes. The centrepiece of the redesign is a hand-painted mural by internationally acclaimed artist Sanja Kova?evi?, whose work infuses the dining room with a sense of sunlit movement and Mediterranean spirit.

A deeper burgundy tone now anchors the bar area, adding a touch of romance and intimacy to the room’s ambiance—perfect for an evening cocktail or a relaxed tête-à-tête. Meanwhile, the lounge area has been transformed with new banquettes that invite lingering conversations and casual elegance. The overall result is a setting that feels both contemporary and timeless, offering guests a sensory journey to the French coast without ever leaving Riyadh.

But the transformation doesn’t stop at design. The culinary team has introduced a host of new dishes that bring fresh seasonal flavours to the forefront, while staying true to the restaurant’s Mediterranean roots. The new menu is a celebration of ingredients—each dish created with balance, finesse, and a deep appreciation for simplicity done well.

Among the new starters is the Asperges Blanches au Parmesan, a delicate pairing of white asparagus and aged parmesan that showcases the season’s best produce. Seafood lovers will gravitate to the Salade de Poulpe, which brings together tender octopus with green beans, artichokes, and a vibrant citrus dressing—each bite a refreshing contrast of texture and taste.

Main courses continue the culinary journey with signature LPM elegance. The Homard Grillé et Rouille offers a generous portion of grilled Maine lobster served with a subtly spiced rouille sauce, while the Cocotte de Loup de Mer presents a slow-cooked seabass that melts into its tomato and pepper base, capturing the warmth and richness of coastal French cooking. Another standout is the Risotto aux Morilles et Asperges, where creamy risotto meets earthy morel mushrooms and crisp asparagus—an ideal dish for anyone seeking comfort and depth of flavour.

To end the meal, dessert is treated with equal creativity and flair. The Omelette Norvégienne Exotique is a tropical twist on the classic baked Alaska, featuring mango sorbet wrapped in a golden meringue shell. Meanwhile, the Saint Honoré offers layers of crisp pastry, silky chocolate, and hazelnut cream, delivering a luxurious finish to the dining experience.

Director of Operations for LPM in the Middle East and Asia, Alexandra Audon Filali, shared her vision for the relaunch: “As we reopen La Petite Maison Riyadh, our goal was to create a renewed sense of vibrancy, a space that captures the energy and elegance of the French Riviera. Every detail—from the artwork to the new signature dishes—has been curated to elevate the guest experience.”

She adds that the refresh is a thank-you to loyal guests who have supported the restaurant since its opening. “We hope this new chapter brings a little novelty to their dining experience and reinforces the special bond we have built over time.”

Nicolas Budzynski, CEO of La Petite Maison, emphasised the importance of Riyadh in the brand’s journey. “Since its opening in 2021, the restaurant has delivered outstanding performance, becoming our second-best performing location globally—surpassing even London and Miami. Riyadh holds a very special place for LPM, and we are committed to keeping it at the forefront of hospitality in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.”

To mark the reopening, LPM Riyadh hosted an evening of live music with troubadour performances and a DJ set, blending the brand’s signature flair for ambiance with a modern, celebratory energy. The event reflected the spirit of the new space—elegant, energetic, and deeply personal.

For those already familiar with La Petite Maison, the reopening offers a chance to rediscover what they love with a fresh perspective. For newcomers, it’s a perfect introduction to one of Riyadh’s finest dining destinations. With its combination of refined design, thoughtful service, and seasonal French Mediterranean cuisine, the new LPM Riyadh is not just a meal—it’s an experience that lingers long after the last bite.
