Renowned for its innovative approach to modern European cuisine, Studio Frantzén introduces an elevated weekend dining experience with The Luncheon. Led by critically acclaimed chef Björn Frantzén, this refined yet vibrant dining affair invites guests to indulge in a two-course menu that perfectly blends French-inspired flavors with Asian influences, available every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Atlantis, The Palm.

A Unique Dining Experience

Designed as a celebration of bold, modern culinary techniques and fresh, seasonal ingredients, The Luncheon offers an indulgent two-course menu for AED 195, featuring a side dish to complement each selection. Guests also have the option to enhance their experience with a curated beverage package, priced at AED 225, which includes an array of wines, cocktails, champagne, and mocktails, providing a drink to suit every palate.

For dessert enthusiasts, the experience doesn’t end at the main course. Studio Frantzén’s interactive candy room provides a whimsical escape, offering indulgent à la carte desserts ranging from AED 30. Guests can treat themselves to a variety of sweet delights, such as soft serve ice cream, sorbet, and chamomile and ghaf honey cheesecake, all beautifully presented in a space adorned with the restaurant’s iconic colorful bear print.

A Modern Culinary Journey

The specially developed weekend lunch menu is an exquisite blend of modern culinary techniques and globally sourced, fresh ingredients. Guests begin their meal with a selection of creative starters, each expertly crafted to showcase the finest ingredients. Options include:

  • Roasted cauliflower with truffle, paired with hazelnuts, parmesan, and galangal vinaigrette.
  • Seabass ceviche, featuring ponzu strawberries and salted turnips.
  • A variety of four types of oysters, each bringing a unique flavor experience to the table.

Main courses are just as exceptional, offering a choice of contemporary, globally inspired dishes:

  • Angus beef striploin, served with a rich fermented Kampot pepper cream sauce.
  • Lamb rack, accompanied by grilled cucumber jus, wasabi, and mint raita.
  • Salmon tataki, served with avocado, cabbage salad, spring onion, and ponzu.

To complement the main course, guests are invited to choose one side dish from the following:

  • Deep-fried Hasselback potatoes, drizzled with browned butter and cream cheese.
  • Butter-braised greens and shallots.
  • Koshihikari rice, infused with melted butter and chives.

Each dish is a reflection of Chef Frantzén’s mastery of blending flavors, textures, and influences from both French and Asian cuisine.

The Atmosphere: A Vibrant Setting for Weekend Indulgence

The ambiance at Studio Frantzén enhances the entire dining experience, with its stunning atrium, complete with dazzling chandeliers and cozy booths that invite guests to relax and savor every moment. For those seeking a more intimate dining experience, a private dining room is available, while those who love the thrill of culinary mastery can opt for front-row seats at the open kitchen, where they can watch as chefs prepare each dish with precision and passion.

To continue the experience after the meal, guests are invited to head to the bar, where they can enjoy a selection of à la carte cocktails and spirits, featuring premium Nordic ingredients like rhubarb, sea buckthorn, and blueberries. Wine lovers will also appreciate the extensive wine cellar, which boasts over 1,600 labels from boutique producers and internationally acclaimed vineyards spanning 15 countries. Studio Frantzén is proud to offer Dubai’s firsts, allowing guests to explore rare and exclusive wines.
