Since its founding in 1957, Repossi has continuously challenged the boundaries of conventional jewellery, evolving from a small Turin atelier to a maison synonymous with bold architecture and modern design at Place Vendôme. In 2025, the house turns its spotlight to the idea of sculptural fullness through its latest high jewellery offering — the Blast Collection. This series reimagines the elegance of gold through a hypnotic interplay of lines, volume, and symbolic inspirations, amplifying the Maison’s avant-garde identity.
The name Blast evokes a primal beginning — a force of creation — and it is this idea that lies at the heart of the new collection. Inspired by traditional jewellery from ancient cultures such as the Masai, Miao, and Indonesian tribes, the collection pays tribute to the monumental beauty and symbolic power of primitive adornment. Through the fluid motion of an endless gold thread, Repossi encapsulates this timeless essence, while incorporating the Japanese Enso circle — a visual symbol of harmony and eternity — to evoke a deeper philosophical narrative.

But Blast is far from simply retrospective. As with much of Repossi’s work, the collection is rooted in a contemporary language of art and abstraction. The spiralling forms echo the sweeping, instinctive gestures found in the work of Cy Twombly, or the conceptual power of Bernar Venet’s metal arcs. These visual cues are not merely aesthetic — they signal a deep connection between art, movement, and material, transforming each piece into a wearable sculpture.
The 1980s, a golden era for Repossi, also finds its voice in this collection. Archival designs such as the Riviera-style plastron necklace and the voluminous Dis-moi Oui! rings have been subtly reinterpreted. Their echoes can be felt in the bold silhouettes and sun-kissed glamour of the new pieces. Yet, Repossi’s approach ensures that heritage never feels dated; rather, it’s translated through a minimalist, architectural lens that feels undeniably of the moment.

Technically, the collection demonstrates the pinnacle of Repossi’s craftsmanship. Gold takes centre stage — shaped, polished, and sculpted entirely by hand. Uniquely, the house inverts the traditional jewellery process: settings are crafted first, allowing stones to be placed like accents within the golden architecture, rather than dominating the form. Pear-shaped diamonds — a signature for the brand — are elevated through the ‘Eiffel Tower’ setting, appearing as if suspended in air.
Among the standout designs is the new Spirale ring, an exquisite tribute to both the fluidity of nature and the strength of female form. The varying thickness of its gold thread creates a rhythm that dances with light. The Spirale hoop earrings echo this organic momentum, curling around the lobe with sensual precision. Meanwhile, the plastron necklace returns in a modernised interpretation, featuring over 720 pavé diamonds and 15 large stones — a pièce de résistance requiring 250 hours of meticulous labour.

There’s a recurring motif in this collection: contrast. Repossi plays with the tension between volume and weightlessness, between primitive and avant-garde, between adornment and architecture. A Lariat pendant skims the collarbone with understated grace, while sculptural drop earrings exude quiet sensuality. With each piece, the Maison demonstrates its command over visual balance, offering pieces that are both statement and subtle.
This collection also reaffirms Repossi’s role as a guardian of tradition and a pioneer of reinvention. With over 70 years of expertise passed through three generations, the Maison’s legacy is evident in its ability to remain forward-thinking without losing its roots. From Monaco royalty in the 1980s to the Parisian avant-garde of today, Repossi continues to shape what high jewellery can mean in a modern context.

Ultimately, Blast is more than a collection. It’s an artistic declaration — a celebration of gold, of form, of light, and of the infinite thread that ties together time, culture, and craft. As Repossi continues to redefine the contours of contemporary jewellery, Blast stands as its boldest, most sculptural symphony yet — an ode to fullness in every sense.
