Eid al-Adha, a time of reflection and reunion, finds deeper meaning this year at Four Seasons Resorts Maldives, where the rhythm of waves replaces the din of routine, and connection unfolds across coral gardens and golden shores. For families travelling from the Middle East, this is not simply a holiday—it’s a curated journey into presence, purpose, and play, shaped by the ocean and steeped in the intimacy of nature.

At the heart of the offering is a clear invitation: to Discover More Together. Set across two iconic island sanctuaries—Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru—the experience celebrates the art of multi-generational travel through a blend of shared adventure, private sanctuary, and environmental wonder.

The Maldives has long stood as a haven of beauty, but at Four Seasons, it becomes something more layered. Here, the marine world is not just backdrop but teacher. At Kuda Huraa, children aged 8 to 12 are inducted into the Junior Marine Savers programme, where coral propagation and turtle rehabilitation are hands-on rites of passage. At Landaa Giraavaru, teens (13 to 18) step into the role of Trainee Marine Biologist, supporting conservation work that leaves a lasting legacy—and not just on holiday photos.

Yet the ocean is not solely for study. For those drawn to deeper waters, both resorts boast PADI Five-Star Dive Centres, where entire families can descend into kaleidoscopic reef systems. Children as young as eight skip traditional pool instruction in favour of lagoon-based Bubblemaker dives, while teens and adults can complete their Open Water certifications with pre-arrival eLearning—meaning more time is spent in the water, not the classroom.

Surfing families will find their rhythm at Kuda Huraa, where six world-class breaks are only minutes away by speedboat. From beginner-friendly foam to expert-level rollers, the resort’s Ride Clinics and Seaplane Surfing Safaris offer surf moments that transform into stories told long after Eid.

On land, the joy continues. Tennis courts welcome all ages, while Landaa Giraavaru introduces the fast-paced thrill of padel. When the call of the sea returns, a private yacht charter whisks families to secret sandbanks and turtle-filled shallows, where picnics and snorkels blend seamlessly into the memory reel of a perfect day.

Evenings unfold in villas designed not just for comfort, but for connection. Multi-bedroom estates—like the Four-Bedroom Landaa Estate or the Three-Bedroom Kuda Estate—are more than accommodations; they are homes. Here, butlers anticipate, pools beckon, and meals become rituals: a barbecue under the stars, a breakfast framed by ocean light. These are moments that gather meaning in silence, in laughter, in the gentle cadence of doing nothing together.

Wellness, too, finds its place—not as a service, but a shared journey. At AyurMa and The Island Spa, families experience healing collectively through 60-minute rituals that prioritise stillness, balance, and intention. Children, adults, elders—each is honoured in a wellness language tailored to their needs.

The Discover More Together package further elevates the experience. At Landaa Giraavaru, families receive daily breakfasts, Jet Ski rides, dolphin cruises, wellness journeys, and more—all designed to spark connection. Kuda Huraa mirrors this, infusing its own rhythm of offerings from Café Huraa to sunset fishing excursions. Both packages require a minimum four- or five-night stay, but the memories forged in that time are anything but brief.

In a world where time is fleeting and togetherness often stolen by screens and schedules, Four Seasons Resorts Maldives offers something rare: the space to simply be. To float. To watch a child plant coral. To share a first dive. To gaze out at the sea with no need for words.

This Eid al-Adha, beneath the Maldivian moonlight, families are not just welcomed. They are seen. They are celebrated.
