Perched high above the whitewashed maze of Mykonos Town, Anandes Hotel and its French Riviera-inspired restaurant La Petite Maison (LPM) return for their much-anticipated second season, reaffirming their position as the island’s most distinctive boutique escape. Debuting in June 2024, the property has quickly become a beacon of refined Cycladic living, offering sweeping views of the iconic windmills, the old town’s labyrinthine rooftops, and the shimmering Aegean Sea—a scene as cinematic as it is serene.
More than just a hotel, Anandes is a sanctuary—a quiet homage to Mykonos’ vintage charm, masterfully interwoven with contemporary elegance. Its location is a rare privilege: elevated and secluded, yet only steps from the island’s most coveted shops, dining addresses, and after-hours haunts. With 42 thoughtfully curated rooms and suites, many featuring private infinity pools, guests are enveloped in understated luxury from the moment they arrive. Natural stone, rattan, pine wood, and linen form a tactile palette that echoes the surrounding landscape, while design elements by sculptor Philippe Anthonioz and artworks by Richard Serra and Thomas Houseago elevate the ambiance to gallery-like heights.

As the sun begins its golden descent, the hotel transforms into a front-row seat to one of the Aegean’s most spectacular performances: the sunset. And there’s no better place to enjoy it than poolside at La Petite Maison, the tenth global outpost of the beloved French dining institution. Here, LPM’s signature joie de vivre takes on a Mykonoian twist, offering an alfresco dining experience that is as spirited as it is sophisticated. With 125 panoramic seats, the terrace overlooks the sea, welcoming guests to share Provençal delicacies like Warm Prawns with Olive Oil and Lemon, Salt Baked Sea Bass, and Snails with Garlic Butter and Parsley. The Vanilla Crème Brûlée, of course, remains a cult favourite, while the Tomatini cocktail continues to charm with its crisp, savoury finish.
In 2025, LPM raises the tempo with a series of magnetic new events. The debut of the weekly “Soirée Blanche” promises Thursday nights of Riviera-style revelry beneath the stars, while a roaming live band and a resident DJ will soundtrack the sunset every evening from Monday through Sunday, creating an effortlessly cool energy that flows seamlessly from golden hour to moonlit magic.

For those wishing to savour LPM’s flair throughout the day, the restaurant’s poolside menu offers a delightful fusion of French and Greek influences. Guests can graze on Sea Bass Ceviche with Truffle Ponzu or Burrata and Tomato Tartine, indulge in a Wagyu Sandwich on focaccia with rocket pesto, or enjoy a Grilled Prawn platter served with fresh pita. Morning rituals are equally inviting, with breakfast highlights such as Eggs Provençal, French Toast with Fresh Berries, and a Tomato Tart with Feta and Basil.
Beyond indulgence, Anandes also offers a holistic approach to well-being. Its serene spa is stocked with Ariadne Athens products and includes two bespoke treatment rooms, a traditional hammam, a sauna, and a 24-hour gym equipped with premium TechnoGym equipment. Whether it’s a revitalising treatment or a sunrise stretch session, the hotel’s wellness offerings are a balm for body and mind. The concierge service elevates every stay further, orchestrating everything from private beach dinners to island-hopping excursions—all tailored to the guest’s personal rhythm.

Designed by Studio Bonarchi, the hotel’s interiors are a masterclass in modern Cycladic elegance. Vangelis Bonios and his team have created radiant spaces defined by noble simplicity, honouring the island’s architectural heritage while imbuing each corner with tactile richness and contemporary flair. Brass-accented travertine bathrooms nod to the glamour of Mykonos’ jet-set era, while Bang & Olufsen sound systems and custom lighting create an ambience of cinematic calm.
Founder Karim El Chiaty describes Anandes as an “intimate oasis,” perfectly placed between exploration and retreat. “After a fantastic first season, I’m delighted to welcome both returning and new guests for what promises to be another unforgettable summer in Mykonos,” he shares. “Guests can enjoy poolside snacks and cocktails by LPM, and I’m especially excited for this season’s new entertainment programming, which will further establish it as one of the island’s most sought-after dining destinations.”

La Petite Maison’s CEO, Nicolas Budzynski, echoes the sentiment. “This year, we’re introducing some exciting new programming with the introduction of Soirée Blanche every Thursday, as well as our resident roaming band. The sunset views from our poolside al fresco space at Anandes Hotel are something truly special and really set LPM apart on the island.”
With rooms starting at €695 per night, Anandes Hotel invites you to experience a new era of Cycladic escape—where time slows down, luxury feels personal, and every sunset signals the start of something unforgettable.
