Along Saudi Arabia’s untouched north-western coastline, where the Red Sea brushes against the ancient contours of the Hijaz Mountains, a new era of luxury travel is taking shape. Red Sea Global has announced the opening of AMAALA Triple Bay, a destination conceived not merely as a getaway, but as the world’s new coastal lifestyle sanctuary—one rooted in wellbeing, discovery and a deep respect for the natural world. Introduced during the inaugural TOURISE Summit, AMAALA emerges as a momentous milestone in the Kingdom’s transformative tourism landscape.
AMAALA draws its name from the Arabic word for hope, and the destination channels that sentiment with captivating clarity. Designed as a place where visitors can reconnect with themselves and with nature, it blends Saudi traditions of retreat and renewal with the sophistication of modern wellness. John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, describes AMAALA as “the new home for wellness in the world,” a haven where living better, longer, and more meaningfully becomes a guiding philosophy.

The journey begins with six extraordinary resorts, each offering its own interpretation of coastal luxury. Equinox Resort and Residences arrives as a high-performance sanctuary, where sleep-optimized suites, magnesium vitality pools and hyperbaric chambers form the foundation of a new frontier in regeneration. The Four Seasons brings its signature serenity to Triple Bay through lush gardens and waterfall-dotted landscapes, while Nammos Resort reimagines social and solo wellness with sunset bars and island dining framed by Red Sea horizons.
Rosewood AMAALA introduces a world of refined elegance, thoughtfully divided into zones for families, couples and wellness seekers, all anchored by the calming rituals of the Asaya Spa. Six Senses AMAALA, meanwhile, offers transformative journeys through sleep programs, yoga retreats, detox therapies and an expansive spa that embodies the brand’s deep knowledge of holistic wellbeing. These resorts are seamlessly connected by the Wellness Route, a 5km linear park that winds through untouched nature, setting a tranquil rhythm for every stay.

At the heart of the destination lies the AMAALA Yacht Club—soon to be one of the world’s premier maritime enclaves and future host of The Ocean Race’s Grand Finale in 2027. Alongside it rises Corallium, a three-level marine life institute that invites guests into the wonders of the Red Sea through immersive storytelling and vivid underwater encounters. These experiences serve not only as entertainment, but as meaningful reminders of the region’s ecological significance and the collective responsibility to protect it.
The scale of AMAALA is matched only by its ambition to create lasting global impact. As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the destination will generate up to 50,000 new jobs and contribute SAR 11 billion to the nation’s GDP. RSG has invested SAR 51.04 billion into Phase One, which will eventually include nine resorts and more than 1,600 keys. The remaining properties—Clinique La Prairie Health Resort, Jayasom Wellness Resort and The Ritz-Carlton Resort—are also nearing their debut, promising an even more diverse tapestry of experiences.

True to Red Sea Global’s ethos, AMAALA stands at the forefront of regenerative tourism. Rather than simply minimizing harm, the destination aims to deliver a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040, protecting coral reefs, expanding biodiverse habitats and maintaining a strict annual cap of 500,000 visitors to safeguard its pristine environment. With 100% renewable energy powering the entire development and a fleet of electric vehicles transporting guests from the growing Red Sea International Airport, sustainability becomes not an add-on but the blueprint.
As AMAALA prepares to open its shores, the world is invited to experience something profoundly new: a coastal destination that unites luxury with purpose, serenity with exploration, and Saudi heritage with forward vision. It is not just a place to visit—it is a place to evolve.
