Amazon has officially launched its much-anticipated Kindle Colorsoft devices in the UAE and KSA, ushering in a new era of immersive reading. As readers across the globe consume more content than ever before—surpassing 129 billion pages this year—Kindle Colorsoft promises a bold upgrade: beloved Kindle functionality, now in colour.

Available in both 16 GB and 32 GB variants, Kindle Colorsoft reimagines the digital reading experience. Its vibrant 7-inch Colorsoft display delivers 300 ppi for black and white content and 150 ppi for colour, enabling books, magazines, graphic novels, and children’s titles to come to life with exceptional clarity and hue. With faster page turns, an adjustable warm light, and battery life that lasts up to eight weeks, the device combines performance with reader-first design.

Weighing just 215g, Kindle Colorsoft maintains the lightness and portability readers love, while its 16-level grayscale and high-contrast colour display enhance everything from image-rich titles to academic materials. For those who prefer dark mode reading, the new Page Color feature allows users to invert text and background colours, providing customisable comfort in any lighting.

Storage is generous: the 16 GB version comfortably holds thousands of books, while the 32 GB Signature Edition expands space further and introduces wireless charging and an auto-adjusting front light. Both versions include free cloud storage for Amazon content, ensuring seamless syncing across devices.

With the ability to highlight text in yellow, orange, blue, or pink and later filter by colour, Kindle Colorsoft adds a new level of interactivity, especially for academic readers or avid note-takers. Browsing book covers in vibrant detail or diving into colour-rich graphic novels is now more intuitive and enjoyable than ever.

Kindle Colorsoft is priced at AED 959 / SAR 1,069 for the standard 16 GB model and AED 1,079 / SAR 1,199 for the 32 GB Signature Edition. Both are now available across retail channels in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, marking Amazon’s commitment to delivering innovation tailored to the region’s growing community of readers.

Whether it’s flipping through a cookbook, exploring an illustrated memoir, or studying a colour-coded textbook, Kindle Colorsoft offers a dynamic way to enjoy books—with all the lightweight ease and focus-driven features that make Kindle a leader in digital reading.
