Bowers & Wilkins Unveils the Pi8 McLaren Edition: Precision Audio Meets Automotive Excellence

Bowers & Wilkins, the iconic British audio brand renowned for its uncompromising sound performance, has unveiled a new high-performance wearable in celebration of its enduring partnership with McLaren. The Pi8 McLaren Editionwireless earbuds are more than just a nod to automotive aesthetics—they are a meeting of sound engineering mastery and cutting-edge design, brought to life in a bold Galvanic Grey and McLaren’s signature Papaya orange.

Released in June 2025, the Pi8 McLaren Edition commemorates ten years of Bowers & Wilkins’ collaboration with McLaren Automotive. This limited-edition model also marks the expansion of the brand’s partnership into the world of Formula 1, having recently been named the Official Audio Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team. It joins an elite portfolio that includes the Px8 McLaren Edition headphones and the Zeppelin McLaren Edition speaker system.

At the heart of the Pi8 McLaren Edition is Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship Pi8 platform—a multi-award-winning earbudengineered for audiophiles who demand exceptional sound, sleek design, and advanced features. Users can expect reference-level high-resolution audio, enhanced comfort, and advanced connectivity, including support for Wireless Audio Retransmission, enabling seamless sound from in-flight systems or other traditional wired sources.

Crafted for fans of both high-performance audio and high-octane motoring, the earbuds channel McLaren’s dynamic visual language while delivering the acoustic excellence synonymous with Bowers & Wilkins. Finished in Galvanic Grey and accented with Papaya Orange, they reflect the racing heritage and sophistication of McLaren’s design philosophy. The earbuds are also packaged with premium accessories and offer exceptional call quality, adaptive noise cancelling, and an immersive soundstage—making them a stylish companion for travel, training, or everyday use.
