Internationally renowned, award-winning Chef, Akira Back is set to host – and cook – two mouthwatering dinners for foodies across the city. On the 26th and 27th of February, the Michelin-starred Chef will be serving up two carefully curated menus at his self-titled restaurant Akira Back, located at the iconic W Dubai – The Palm.
Guests dining at the adrenaline-fueled, modern Japanese restaurant will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to the meet the man of the hour, as he steps into the kitchen to prepare the very best in culinary creativity, featuring an impressive blend of mouth-watering Japanese cuisine with Korean essence.
Wednesday’s exclusive set menu will comprise of 5 fabulous courses, served as a mix of sharing and individual portions, including dishes such as Cured Yellowtail, Zucchini, Truffle and Umami Aioli, Tuna Tataki, succulent 48-Hour Short Ribs and for something sweet, creamy Yuzu Cheesecake. With the mood set by W Dubai – The Palm’s in-house Music Curator, Safe Smokingroove, guests can indulge in a special sharing menu paired with Sake for just AED 495 per person.

On thursday, guests can enjoy an intimate lounge affair with free-flowing beverages and delicious signature bites including Tuna Pizza, AB Tacos, Braised Short Rib, served with Asian Slaw and Rock Shrimps. Featuring exceptional food and exciting live stations across the stunning Akira Back terrace, coupled with live entertainment and music by DJ Eden, the stage is set for a perfect weekend.
