BDK Parfums’ latest creation, Extrait Gris Charnel, builds on the success of Gris Charnel by creating an even richer, more intense version, with a particular focus on its spicy and woody facets. The independent French perfume house presents the new perfume under its Collection Parisienne, where “each fragrance tells a story and takes its wearer on a journey through the district of Paris.”
With Extrait Gris Charnel, the head and base notes have been expanded with an amplified presence of cardamom mixing with bourbon vetiver from Madagascar and creamy sandalwood from India, to add more volume to the perfume extract. Base notes of smoky vanilla from Madagascar combined with Indonesian patchouli round off the fragrance.
Accosting to the brand, The launch of Extrait Gris Charnel was “not about simply creating a more concentrated version of Gris Charnel,” but rather to embody “the sensuality of the Parisian man and woman and perfectly captures the energy of the French capital.”
Mathilde Bijaoui, the house’s Perfumer, said: “I have a special bond with this fragrance. Through this second chapter, I wanted to magnify the sensuality of the original Gris Charnel signature. To sculpt a trail, to be even more magnetic and captivating as desired.”
