Located on the pristine beach of Saadiyat Island and framed by the distinguished Saadiyat Beach Golf Course, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, is a destination for the discerning and the well-travelled. The resort has 376 guestrooms. Each one has a private terrace with panoramic views of the turquoise-blue sea, golf course, or resort gardens. Spaces range from the intimate to the grand. Standard rooms offer 55 square metres with a 10 square metres balcony. The majestic Royal Suite, a 2,000 square metre duplex, is the grandest of them all. A modern mix of cream, beige, and black hues, greet the guests at the Iridium Spa, complemented by tactile, natural materials, and soft, golden lighting. The Spa has twelve serene treatment suites, including couples treatment rooms and three themed Spa Suites with private terraces and soothing water features. Additional spa facilities include a sauna, steam room, Hammam, Experience Shower, Jacuzzi, and Vichy treatment room.
The highly trained and experienced staff offer “a bespoke, transformative spa experience” that can last from half-an-hour to half-a-day. The therapies on offer blend traditional remedies with modern technologies, including total mind, body, and spirit rejuvenation.
“Detox and Relax” is the newest of these treatments, introduced this summer. The two-hour treatment is designed to offer a relaxing experience for the whole body. The treatment, which includes Iridium’s ultra-luxurious traditional hammam, is a carefully crafted process that is designed to increase cell renewal, reduce water retention and thoroughly detoxify and cleanse the body. The treatment concludes with a fabulous full-body massage, and a visit to the state-of-the-art sauna, whirlpool and wellness facilities.
The St. Regis Athletic Club offers a state-of-the-art gym with smooth wooden floors, bright white walls, and ample natural light to illuminate an impressive array of Technogym machines. Additional activities include yoga, and other studio-based classes, as well as professional personal trainers upon request.
The resort has no fewer than six restaurants and bars spread across the expansive resort, where guests can pamper their palates.
Sontaya serves a culinary mosaic of Southeast Asian fare complemented by signature cocktails and captivating artistic accents. Its pavilions and terrace float amongst a series of interconnected pools, overlooking the resort’s beach. The culinary creations from its kitchen earned Sontaya the 2019 FACT Dining Award for ‘Favorite Southeast Asian Restaurant.’
Singaporean Pot Stickers, Char-grilled Satay, Tom Yum and Vietnamese Fish Soups, Malaysian Sambal Seafood, Crispy Duck, Green Prawn Curry, Wok-Fried Lobster, Mango Sticky Rice Pudding, Molten Chocolate Cake, as well as signature and traditional cocktails are some of the highlights from the menu.
The Mediterranean-influenced Oléa offers a cultured yet relaxed indoor and outdoor all-day dining, featuring live cooking stations and myriad à la carte menu options. Oléa was named ‘Best Brunch in Abu Dhabi’ by BBC.com and Best International Brunch by Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards in 2018.
Mazi makes its Middle East Debut at St. Regis. Abu Dhabi. Mazi, which means “together” in Greek, revives the sharing culinary tradition of Greece and is at the very core of the restaurant’s concept. Created by husband-and-wife duo Adrien Carré and Christina Mouratoglou, the venue can house up to 120 guests.
The Manhattan Lounge is the place to start the evening or finish the day on a strong note, with curated beverage offers. The Drawing Room, with its open lounge and inviting sofas, offers the delightful tradition of afternoon tea.

The recently introduced Nazka concept offers a curated menu that combines authentic Peruvian ingredients with Japanese cooking techniques. Highlights include colourful maki rolls, softshell crab tempura, tori robatta and many more fabulous recipes. Buddha-Bar’s sharing-style menu is served on the venue’s pristine beachfront. Guests are served a myriad of dishes from different countries and cities of the Pacific region, including the finest quality sushi, salads, gyoza and more tempting light bites. The menu is served every Friday, from 1 pm to 4 pm, with a special night brunch service starting on the same day from 7 pm onwards.
