Meliã Desert Palm Dubai has launched an in-villa Iftar package that offers guests the opportunity to share a delicious meal with their family and friends, in a tranquil and safe environment. With social gatherings and international travel still limited, Dubai’s only Polo resort offers a Holy Month experience with a difference.

Guests can book a luxurious two-bedroom private pool villa for three hours to break the fast with their loved ones. Families can spend quality time together totally undisturbed, minus the hassle of cooking and cleaning, as the resort will set up the full Iftar spread in the villa’s spacious dining area.

After the sun sets, the group can relish hot and cold mezze dishes such as hummus, fatayer, sambousak and stuffed vine leaves along with traditional Harira and lentil soups. For the main course, the resort’s culinary team will dish up hearty meat cuts or fish straight off the Asado, oak-wood-fired grill. Dates, fresh salads and special Ramadan beverages will also be served. Additionally, diners can indulge in traditional desserts such as kunafa, qatayef and Umm Ali.

The splendid pool villa boasts plenty of outdoor space as well, so guests can dine al fresco in the lush surroundings or relax with a tea or coffee on the poolside cocoon beds. Shisha will be available upon request.

Bookings can be made for a group of minimum six people, to a maximum of 10 people.

Meliã Desert Palm Dubai is a stone´s throw away from Dubai’s urban heart. Located on an extensive polo estate on Al Awir Road, the resort is nestled amidst championship-grade polo fields and horse stables. An oasis of calm, this sumptuously and discreetly luxurious retreat is a hidden world with cosy private pool villas, chic spaces for culinary refinement and spa indulgences surrounded by vast green landscapes, rare birds and thoroughbred horses.
