Rimowa has launched a special edition version of its iconic Rimowa Original aluminium suitcase in two colourways – Cabin Green Camouflage and Cabin Pink Camouflage.
Made in Cologne, Germany, the Camouflage edition’s design has been harmoniously adapted to the luggage’s shape and structure. The result is a unique colour combination in a refined pattern that appears to be almost floating on the suitcase’s surface, creating interesting visual focal points throughout.
To achieve the distinctive camouflage look, Rimowa employed a combination of its innovative aluminium anodising technique and various surface treatments to lock the colour pigments into the metal alloy. The result is a lasting metallic sheen that lends the design a unique and vibrant appearance. The Camouflage edition utilises three different colours that are inscribed directly into the aluminium skin. The engineering of each piece can take up to several hours before a lengthy hand-finishing and quality control process ensures the flawless completion of each piece.
Each suitcase in the collection includes an anodised aluminium badge with the engraved Rimowa logo and pioneering wheel design that incorporates the brand’s new monogram.
