Set in the pristine Noonu Atoll, Maldives, the 46-villa Cheval Blanc Randheli resort, is an intimate and contemporary haven. The resort, a 40-minute seaplane journey north of Malé, was developed and managed by the LVMH Group since 2013. It was conceived to be in harmony with the island’s lush vegetation and lagoon, offering a rare experience of exclusive privacy and stunning ocean views.

The resort presents ultimate indulgence with culinary vibrancy in five restaurants and four bars. The immersion into the idyllic surroundings can be further enhanced by a PADI-certified dive centre, thrilling watersports, Le Carrousel and Le Paddock kids’ and teens’ clubs and endless bespoke experiences.

The resort also boasts the unique the Cheval Blanc Spa, set on its own private island, and featuring exclusive Guerlain rituals. Also found on the island is the pavilion dedicated to yoga that offers a 360-degree view of the ocean and its crystalline waters.

Aerial Yoga at the Cheval Blanc Randheli resort

The yoga and meditation teacher on the Cheval Blanc Spa Island, Szilvia Rung, has developed a new Aerial Yoga class for this 2018 season, combining Indian discipline and acrobatics. In the 45-minute sessions, designed for groups or individuals, the body is suspended from long silky sheets one metre from the ground which allows it to move freely in gravity defying mouseovers.

According to Cheval Blanc Randheli: “The body feels light and eased of any tension, allowing it to curve and gently become stronger. While Aerial Yoga offers a greater feeling of fulfilment and serenity than traditional yoga, it above all provides improved flexibility of the body and sustained concentration, as the person finds themselves in an unusual situation, suspended in the air… In this idyllic setting, yogis can reach a state of absolute well-being and a feeling of calm, caressed by a gentle breeze.”
