The pioneering British leather goods brand, Aspinal of London, have recently launched a permanent flagship store at the Dubai Mall. The new 1,200 square foot store is the fifth store in the Middle East and features two walls of floating shelves showcasing the brand’s trunk and hatbox collections. Plus, a “library” room at the back of the store contains a personalisation machine, circular cash desk with bar stools, elegant chandeliers and frieze mouldings. The store also carries an exclusive Dubai Mall range of water snake Trunks.
The Aerodrome collection, created in collaboration with British supermodel, David Gandy, is now available at the store. Taking its inspiration from the skies of Great Britain’s heroic past, it features 18 pieces of men’s accessories and travel kit. The pieces work together as an integrated travel collection and are thoughtfully designed to meet the many needs of the modern travelling man.

Masculine, oiled calfskin leather of pilot’s flying jacket grain in rugged chocolate or tan offer a highly functional collection to complement the modern wardrobe. The lock for several pieces of the collection is an exact copy of the actual Spitfire Mk1 firing button. Other Spitfire design details have been used across the handle holders, studs and zip pulls that are shaped like propellers.
