AMIRI Joins Forces with FC Barcelona as Official Formalwear Partner

AMIRI announces a dynamic new chapter in its global story with the launch of an exclusive partnership with FC Barcelona, one of the world’s most decorated football clubs. As the official formalwear partner, AMIRI brings its distinct Californian craftsmanship and contemporary tailoring to the legendary institution, uniting two worlds defined by creativity, precision, and excellence.

This collaboration reflects a meeting of modern luxury and athletic legacy—a dialogue between a 21st-century fashion house and a club with 125 years of history. The partnership underscores shared values of innovation, artistry, and performance, reimagining how formalwear can express both tradition and progress. Through this alliance, AMIRI extends its design ethos to the sporting world, creating custom suiting for both the men’s and women’s teams, as well as for FC Barcelona’s executives and leadership.

Inspired by the club’s iconic blue and garnet colours, AMIRI’s bespoke designs translate the energy and identity of equip blaugrana into refined tailoring. For the Winter 2025 season, the collection features precisely cut wool six-button overcoats and pinstripe suits—double-breasted for men, single-breasted for women—crafted in deep navy wool. Gently flared trousers and garnet-and-blue striped ties add a touch of heritage, while gold bar tie clips nod to understated luxury.

For the Summer season, AMIRI evolves the collection with lightweight tailoring and contemporary silhouettes. A standout piece is the shirt-collar blouson, an AMIRI signature reinterpreted through a sportswear lens, embroidered with the MA Monogram and tonal FC Barcelona crest. Fine knits featuring the club’s colours and delicate embroidery complete the collection, blurring the lines between performance and elegance.

Speaking on the collaboration, Mike Amiri, Founder and Creative Director of AMIRI, shared: “Soccer and fashion share a spirit, born from passion, precision, and creativity. Each is about mastering your craft and expressing who you are through movement and form. Partnering with FC Barcelona lets AMIRI reflect that same pursuit of excellence through our tailoring. This collaboration with Barça is a celebration of shared values.”

Echoing this sentiment, Manel del Río, CEO of FC Barcelona, added: “This alliance with AMIRI represents a connection between two institutions that share the same ambition: excellence, creativity, and attention to detail. At FC Barcelona, we believe that elegance is part of how we represent the club, both on and off the pitch. AMIRI brings a contemporary vision of craftsmanship and style that aligns perfectly with our identity.”

The collaboration’s campaign captures AMIRI’s Los Angeles roots and FC Barcelona’s global prestige in a series of cinematic visuals, available through exclusive imagery and video content. The designs embody a sense of understated confidence—formalwear crafted for modern athletes, champions, and visionaries who transcend their fields.
