Viola Davis, Salma Hayek, Andrew Garfield, and More Choose Gucci for Their Golden Globe Red-Carpet Appearances

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards held on January 5, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills witnessed an array of A-list celebrities turning heads in custom Gucci creations, reaffirming the brand’s standing as a symbol of elegance and luxury on the red carpet.

Viola Davis: A Reimagined Classic

Viola Davis, recipient of the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award, made a memorable entrance in a custom multicolor Gucci sequin gown, designed by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno. This reimagined piece, which originally debuted at the LACMA Art+Film Gala in November 2024, featured bold new embellishments and a matching sequin cape for the Golden Globes. In collaboration with her stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Davis showcased a stunning display of Gucci’s craftsmanship, epitomizing both elegance and modernity.

Salma Hayek Pinault: Red-Carpet Royalty

Salma Hayek Pinault, who presented the award for Best Actress in a TV Drama, stunned in a custom Gucci brown sleeveless gown with a deep neckline and a sequin-adorned structured bodice. The soft silk cady skirt and a long train with a cinched waist added a dramatic flair, making her one of the night’s most sophisticated figures.

Andrew Garfield: A Modern Take on Tuxedo Tradition

Andrew Garfield, presenter for Best Actor and Actress in a Motion Picture, brought a contemporary edge to classic tailoring with a custom Gucci green wool double-breasted tuxedo. The satin lapels paired with a tonal crepe shirt and Men’s SS25 Horsebit boots added a touch of Gucci’s iconic flair to his look, perfectly complementing his on-stage presence.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons: Classic Gucci Tailoring

Kirsten Dunst embraced 1930s-inspired glamour with a custom Gucci black gown, featuring a velvet bodice, crystal-embroidered open back, and a silk cady skirt that cascaded into a long train. Jesse Plemons, nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, joined her in custom Gucci, sporting a brown wool double-breasted peak lapel tuxedo, silk bowtie, and Horsebit loafers, a refined pairing of classic tailoring and modern sophistication.

Cara Delevingne: Sparkling in Sequins

Cara Delevingne captured attention with a dazzling custom Gucci halter neck gown, fully embroidered in teal blue sequins. The open back and hand-beaded crystal straps added to the glamour, while the metallic leather clutch with bamboo closure and platform sandals completed her look, further cementing her place as a fashion icon.

Lee Jung-jae: The Quintessential Gucci Gentleman

Lee Jung-jae, the global brand ambassador for Gucci and renowned star of Squid Game, embodied understated elegance at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. He wore a custom black double-breasted tuxedo, paired with a sleek black shirt and tie, exuding a sophisticated, modern charm. His ensemble was completed with Gucci’s iconic Horsebit leather boots, elevating his look with a signature touch of luxury. Lee’s presence on the red carpet further cemented Gucci’s position as the go-to brand for discerning celebrities and style icons.

Eiza González: Radiance in Gold

Eiza González dazzled in a custom Gucci creation that shimmered under the spotlight. The Mexican actress wore a gold sequin-embroidered gown with an open back, adorned with intricate crystal-beaded details. The stunning gown’s craftsmanship brought an air of old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet, making Eiza one of the standout figures of the evening. Her look was completed with an exquisite pair of heels, further showcasing Gucci’s expertise in creating pieces that combine timeless beauty with a modern edge.

Gucci: A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Elegance

Gucci continues to captivate the world’s most influential individuals, from Hollywood icons to international stars, with its commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and timeless elegance. Its bespoke creations on the Golden Globe red carpet are a testament to the brand’s enduring legacy of luxury fashion.
