Hermès, the revered French luxury brand known for its meticulous craftsmanship, continues to redefine elegance with its latest creation, Hermès en ContrepoInt. This 33-piece porcelain table service represents a stunning fusion of art, music, and design—one that elevates the art of dining into a sensory experience.

A Visual Symphony of Geometric Rhythm

Inspired by musical counterpoint, Hermès en ContrepoInt transcends the traditional concept of tableware. The collection’s vibrant geometric motifs, hand-drawn and painted in watercolor by acclaimed artist Nigel Peake, evoke the rhythmic precision of musical notes and patterns. Each piece in the collection bears its own décor and rhythm, adding a fresh layer of complexity to everyday dining moments.

The collection includes a variety of items, from plates and cups with distinctive friezes to minimalist teapots and platters. The subtle yet striking friezes come in thirty different shades—ranging from delicate pastels like pinks and violets to bold hues of blues, greens, and oranges—each carefully chosen to harmonize with the overall composition.

An Artistic Touch in Every Piece

Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry, the artistic directors of Hermès Maison, have envisioned a modern, yet timeless set that reflects the artistry of the house. Hermès en ContrepoInt is crafted from kaolin white porcelain, renowned for its purity and finesse. The choice of material ensures that each piece is not only a work of art but also practical, elevating both intimate gatherings and grand occasions alike.

The collection’s design is a celebration of simplicity and freshness, where the use of colour and form invites diners to engage with each piece individually or as part of an ever-evolving arrangement. Much like a musical score, the porcelain set allows for infinite combinations, offering a new experience with every arrangement.

A Moment of Celebration in Everyday Life

Hermès en ContrepoInt offers a unique way to experience beauty and harmony in daily life. Whether you’re hosting a formal dinner or enjoying a quiet meal at home, these pieces invite you to create a symphony of colour and form, elevating any occasion.

The pieces are available at Hermès boutiques and online. For those with an eye for design and a passion for artistry, the Hermès en ContrepoInt collection promises to be an unforgettable addition to any fine dining collection.
