As the curtains draw on the 25th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), the world of fine watchmaking gathers in Dubai for a fitting grand finale. This year’s award-winning timepieces—selected by the Academy and the esteemed Jury—are now on display at Dubai Watch Week, offering collectors and enthusiasts a final opportunity to witness the most celebrated creations of 2025.
Presented within the vibrant setting of Dubai Watch Week, the exhibition features around 20 standout timepieces, each representing the pinnacle of artistry, precision, and craftsmanship. Guided by expert watchmakers, visitors are invited to explore the technical ingenuity and creative mastery that defined this year’s competition. The showcase brings a curated lens to the pieces that shaped horological discourse in 2025.

Among the highlights is a panel discussion titled “The True Weight of a GPHG Award”, held on 21 November in the Collector’s Lounge. Top executives from prize-winning brands will gather to reflect on the impact of the GPHG distinction—an accolade that not only elevates a timepiece, but often defines the trajectory of a brand’s legacy within the watchmaking world.
This final stop in Dubai marks the conclusion of the GPHG 2025 roadshow, which journeyed through Shanghai, Istanbul, and Geneva before arriving in the UAE. More than just a travelling exhibition, the tour embodies the GPHG’s broader mission: to honour and promote the art of watchmaking on a global stage, uniting industry professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts through shared passion and storytelling.

Raymond Loretan, President of the GPHG Foundation, underscored the significance of concluding the anniversary edition in Dubai. “Concluding this 2025 edition at the heart of an event as dynamic and inspiring as Dubai Watch Week perfectly illustrates the GPHG’s spirit of bringing people together, sharing and celebrating watchmaking with the entire world,” he shared, extending gratitude to organisers for their support and collaboration.
