With the introduction of the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour Stealth Black, Bremont sharpens the edges of its contemporary field watch collection. Executed in full black DLC, this latest iteration transforms the celebrated Jumping Hour into a more magnetic, purpose-driven presence. The monochrome treatment reinforces the watch’s architectural geometry, giving the Terra Nova a darker, more assertive identity.
Originally unveiled in 2024, the Terra Nova line reimagines the early 20th-century field watch through a modern British lens. Its cushion-shaped 38 mm case, shortened lugs and low profile draw from military pocket and trench watches, yet the execution feels decisively contemporary. In Stealth Black, the 904L stainless steel case and bracelet are coated with diamond-like carbon, enhancing durability, scratch resistance and corrosion protection while maintaining comfort on the wrist.

The Montres à Guichet-inspired display is where heritage meets modern clarity. Hours and minutes appear through precise vertical apertures, while a central running seconds hand sweeps across the dial, positioned over Bremont’s Wayfinder logo in Super-LumiNova. The stark contrast of white numerals against the blackened discs heightens legibility, ensuring the display remains both graphic and intuitive.
Powering the watch is the BC634 calibre, developed exclusively with Sellita. Engineered for precision and reliability, it delivers an instantaneous hour jump in under one-tenth of a second — a complication executed with technical confidence yet presented with minimalist restraint. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 56-hour power reserve, the movement underscores Bremont’s commitment to functional innovation.

The Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour Stealth Black is offered on either a DLC-coated 904L steel bracelet or a black leather bund strap. The bund, historically used by pilots in extreme conditions, reinforces the field watch lineage while adding protective comfort. Removed from its base, it reveals a classic black calf leather strap beneath, allowing the watch to shift seamlessly from utilitarian to refined.
Measuring 9.10 mm in height and 44 mm in length, the case remains compact yet commanding. Three individual sapphire crystals protect the hour, minute and seconds windows, while 30 metres of water resistance ensures everyday versatility. The closed caseback is subtly decorated, maintaining the clean, tool-oriented aesthetic that defines the collection.

With this full black DLC execution, Bremont elevates the Terra Nova Jumping Hour into something more dramatic and deliberate. Rugged, architectural and technically engaging, it stands as a statement of intent — proof that bold design and mechanical ingenuity can coexist within a practical, modern field watch.
