Delano Dubai, in collaboration with Arcadia by Amna, presents Majlis of Memories, a Ramadan experience where fragrance, memory, and ritual intertwine. Set within the tranquil garden of Blue Door and illuminated by soft ambient lighting, this immersive offering encourages guests to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their senses.
Crafting Personal Aromatic Stories
At the heart of the experience lies a bespoke Arcadia scent bar, allowing guests to create a personalised 15ml perfume inspired by their favourite memories. Curated notes—from warm spices and gentle florals to resinous woods—bring the story of scent to life throughout the garden, enhancing the emotional connection to this sensorial journey.
A Feast of Tradition and Taste
Complementing the aromatic narrative is a meticulously crafted Iftar menu. Guests begin with traditional platters of honey, kaymak with dates, dried figs, walnuts, Ezine cheese, and black olives, followed by Turkish lentil soup and a rotating seasonal soup. Mezze and salads feature delights such as Urfa Ezme, Yaz Cacigi, Atom with charcoal-grilled eggplant, beetroot with goat’s cheese, and sour cherry–infused stuffed vine leaves.
The mains celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Ottoman and Mediterranean coasts, including Adana kebab, Sis Tavuk marinated chicken, beef medallions, and daily chef’s selections, accompanied by classic Turkish rice and sautéed vegetables. Desserts offer an elegant finish with pistachio baklava, rose-scented Güllaç, Kunafa, Qatayef, Umm Ali, Basbousa, Turkish delight, Maras ice cream, and seasonal fruits.
