The eclectic mix of contemporary Italian style and active-wear emphasise uninhibited motion.“
The palette is dominated by navy and deep ocean blues while featuring matte black, aluminium greys, subtle whites, as well as vibrant accents of yellow and orange.
Silhouettes are sharp, yet easy and broad, particularly the trousers, to encourage a sense of freedom and the summer spirit. Sportswear-inspired layering and ample use of nautical-inspired graphics are brought together by some innovative tailoring.
To ensure unrestrained freedom and breathability even on hot summer days and to ensure optimal performance in dynamic situations, Z Zegna makes use of their patented Techmerino fabric made from naturally enhanced pure Australian merino wool which is certified by the Woolmark Company.
An innovation in Techmerino tailoring makes its debut with the brand’s “Wash & Go” suiting with a natural, casual fit. They are domestically machine washable without compromising on performance.
Accessories are also given the vintage regatta treatment. Wave sneakers and rubberised leather boots featuring the Techmerino are paired with colourful boat bags in tridimensional sailing fabric, water-repellent Techmerino backpacks, ocean hoods and soft-shell sailing hats.
The collection also features an exclusive new capsule inspired by the Maserati Multi70 trimaran led by renowned Italian skipper, Giovanni Soldini. The capsule collection replicates the exclusive outfits designed and manufactured by Zegna for the crew of the Maserati Multi70, underscoring the brand’s performance-driven expertise.
