Marshall’s new Major V on-ear headphones offer 100-plus hours of wireless playtime, enhanced comfort and exceptional battery life.
It features the classic Marshall look and is built to withstand everyday wear and tear. The customizability of the M-button means it’s now possible to enable in-app features like Spotify tap, EQ switching and voice assistant.
“With Major IV we broke the mould with 80+ hours of playtime, but Major V goes miles further by taking that total to 100+ hours,” says Martin Wennberg, Product Manager for Marshall headphones.
“To honour the first pair of headphones we ever made, every detail has been painstakingly considered and refined for the fifth incarnation of Major – from their explosive sound to their iconic design.”
The Marshall signature sound has been improved to reduce distortion, allowing the music to be heard with greater clarity. Packing in 100+ hours of wireless playtime equates to around four days of non-stop music.
Charging is done wirelessly, by simply resting the headphones on a charging pad. The foldable design makes them easy to pack away.
Pressing on the M-button, disguised as the M-script logo, opens Spotify Tap by default. The Marshall Bluetooth app allows the user to reconfigure the default settings, access EQ presets and other features or use the voice assistant.
Major V is Bluetooth LE Audio compatible, which means it delivers higher audio quality while increasing streaming range and improving audio sync. This also results in better connection when watching video.
