Renowned Chef Reif Othman is the new Executive Chef and a Business Partner at Billionaire Mansion’s Sumosan restaurant, popular for its critically acclaimed contemporary Japanese cuisine. Together, they promise to charm their diners by presenting a new approach: by bringing his unconventional flair and fresh flavours to Sumosan’s signature favourites.

“I am excited to embark on a new journey and to revitalise the Sumosan brand”– Chef Reif

Chef Othman is today one of the most sought-after chefs. Before joining Flavio Briatore at the Billionaire Group, Reif worked with renowned restaurants such as Zuma, and more recently PLAY Restaurant & Lounge.

The Sumosan restaurant is present in the most sophisticated locations around the globe, such as London, Monte Carlo, and Moscow, and was brought to Dubai by Flavio Briatore. It is a discreet favourite of A-list celebrities and discerning connoisseurs alike.

The restaurant is known for serving sushi and sashimi of the highest quality, amongst a myriad of innovative contemporary Japanese dishes. The interior space is designed to create a slick and atmospheric dining experience featuring live entertainment and performances.

The delectable selection of starters includes raw and sharing options, such as Pillow Wagyu beef with truffle mayo, spinach & dates gyoza with wafu sauce, lightly seared Wagyu beef with goma yuzu dressing & macha tenkasu, and Wagyu beef tataki served with pickled onion and creamy truffle ponzu. The signature starter, Sumosan Tuna Tartar, is served with avocado, quail egg and a creamy truffle sauce.

The main course includes a selection of seafood and meat, such as the Alaskan marinated miso black cod, Scottish salmon teriyaki, tangy prawn tempura and braised Wagyu beef ribs. Also popular among the diners is the restaurant’s wide array of Sushi, Sashimi and Maki Rolls.
