Earlier this year, the island won multiple awards from the prestigious IKA Culinary Olympics 2020 marking their third win in the culinary sphere since the opening of the resort mid last year. Recently voted as a Top Resort In the World by Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2020, Heritance Aarah Maldives is a 150 luxury villa property nestled on the island of Raa Atoli, a 45-minutes seaplane flight from Male International Airport.

Ambula is the signature restaurant at Heritance Aarah Maldives and offers traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. Ambula is well known for its contemporary ‘Heritance’ dining experience. Guests booking at Ambula must try the nine-course tasting menu with beverage pairing. The menu includes traditional specials from the Maldives and authentic Sri Lankan flavours with a modern twist. A must-try dish on the menu is the Curried Octopus wrapped in Maldivian “Roshi” prepared using sustainably homegrown pumpkin. The menu also incorporates plant-based options for vegan enthusiasts.

Hathaa is a signature restaurant on the island offering interactive dining experiences featuring dishes inspired from the streets of Bangkok and Tokyo. Guests booking at Hathaa can experience the exotic street-food flavours in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Overlooking the water, the Parisian – Lebanese style terrace makes Baani a hot spot to unwind and enjoy contemporary world fusion cuisine with a state-of-the-art set menu. This restaurant is exclusive to the Ocean Suite guests. however, other guests too can experience its exclusive offering at a nominal supplement.

Inspired by French and Italian cuisine with a Mediterranean influence, Ralu is an all-day dining restaurant offering a mini buffet as well as à la carte options. The restaurant embraces an earthy vibe in European decor.

Ranba restaurant offers guests a laid-back experience in a beachside set up with international cuisine and an Asian cuisine station.

Surrounded by palm trees and set up on the beach under treetops, Ginifati is perfect for a romantic date night. Offering a fresh selection of seafood accompanied by romantic views, Ginifati offers an outdoor beach grill menu.

Guests can also opt to grab a drink, shisha or simply lounge at one of the five bars on the island – Bandhi Bar, Falhu Bar, Sky Bar (above Ambula), Ralu Lounge Bar or the all-time favourite, Udaras Infinity Pool Bar. Guests can experience a Cuban Duo live in action at Bandhi pool bar whilst relaxing by the waters. Another key attraction is the Naughty Cart, a cart serving ice cream, cocktails, and candies around the island.
