The Chedi Muscat, Oman, is a luxurious beachfront resort offering a peaceful sanctuary across 21 acres of resplendent elegance, where the majestic Al Hajar Mountains meet the Gulf of Oman. The resort has 162 Omani-influenced guest rooms and villas, six distinct restaurants serving international and local cuisine, three pools and a health club.

Spread across 1,500-square-metre, the resort’s spa is one of the largest in Oman. The Spa embraces Eastern philosophy to offer an extensive variety of beauty and massage packages based on the holistic principles of aromatherapy, Ayurveda and herbalism. The spa’s treatment menu includes a variety of body polishes, envelopment treatments, beauty facials and restorative baths.

The spa’s Ayurvedic massages are nuanced spa experiences based on those practised and cultivated for centuries in India. These holistic treatments utilise a selection of herbs and oils to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Each treatment is tailored to each individual’s needs, weather it be reducing stress, improving circulation, relieving pain or to induce relaxation.

In addition to Ayurvedic massages, the Spa also offers other bespoke massage services, such as body polishes that exfoliate and oxygenate the skin, or a relaxing restorative bath. There are beauty facials that revitalise the complexion or envelopment treatments that rejuvenate. The spa recently introduced two new special packages to its portfolio.

The Chedi Muscat Oman

‘Triple the Wellness’ offers a selection of detoxifying treatments coupled with a good night’s rest at the resort. This package includes accommodation in a preferred room category, two sessions of 60-minute Reviving Cupping Therapy for Jetlag and Fluid Retention per stay, two sessions of 60-minute Blood Orange and Shea Butter Body Balm per stay, and two private sessions and consultation for yoga or kinesis with a certified trainer and Health Club Manager per stay.

The Chedi Muscat Oman

The ‘Couple’s Retreat’ package offers extraordinary gastronomic experiences, luxurious spa treats and the indulgence to enjoy precious moments in the pools, lounging by serene gardens, or marvelling at ocean vistas. The package includes accommodation in a preferred room category, an exclusive private beach dinner with a three-course set menu for two per stay, two sessions of 60-minute Ancient Balinese Massage per stay, and a bottle of sparkling wine.

The resort has a well-equipped 700-square-metre Health Club one flight below The Spa. Helmed by experienced personal trainers, the gym has state-of-the-art equipment, free weights and Pilates equipment. Individuals who prefer a complimenting physical routine before or after the spa experience can pursue organic and salubrious sessions at The Health Club.

The resort has three outdoor swimming pools, including a 103-metre ‘Long Pool.’ Each of these is calibrated to maintain average water temperatures between a delightfully refreshing 28 to 30 centigrade year round.
