The new Bulgari Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition, not only celebrates the luxury watch maker’s partnership with the iconic Gran Turismo franchise, but it also marks the 25th anniversary of the Bulgari Aluminium, as well as honouring the 10th anniversary of the Gran Turismo’s Vision GT program.
The new Bulgari x Gran Turismo watches draw inspiration from the vivid yellow dashboard dials of a quintessentially Italian gran turismo car from the 1990s, to capture the essence of speed and elegance. These watches feature a lightweight aluminium case and a soft-touch rubber bezel emblazoned with the Bulgari logo. They also integrate a tachymetric scale, a first for the collection since its relaunch.
The Gran Turismo chronographs are available in two limited editions: a vibrant yellow dial with black counters, and an anthracite dial with yellow indices. Both are powered by the automatic Calibre B381. They come with articulated rubber bracelets with aluminium rods.
In a first for the brand, the brand also introduces the Bulgari Aluminium Vision GT Car, a hypercar designed exclusively for the Gran Turismo universe. The car’s design, a collaboration between Bulgari’s Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and car designer Fabio Filippini, mirrors the aesthetic language of the Bulgari Aluminium watch, with its geometric forms and angular lines reminiscent of Italian gran turismo cars from the 1970s. The interior, a luxurious blend of aluminium, black rubber, anthracite Alcantara, and yellow accents, evokes the watch’s distinctive design.
Owners of the Bulgari Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition watches receive a special code to race their Bulgari hypercar in the Gran Turismo game. This initiative invites connoisseurs and enthusiasts to partake in a journey that traverses the physical and digital realms.
