In 2025, Bvlgari celebrates a golden milestone: 50 years of the BVLGARI BVLGARI watch collection, a symbol of Roman elegance, innovation, and enduring identity. To mark this extraordinary anniversary, the Maison unveils four exceptional new timepieces featuring marble dials—fusing ancient heritage with cutting-edge horology. More than a celebration, this is a tribute to a watch that has defied convention since its debut and become an icon of timeless design.

The BVLGARI BVLGARI story began in 1975 when Gianni Bulgari introduced the design as a private gift for the brand’s top clients. It marked a turning point in luxury watchmaking, blending the worlds of fashion, jewelry, and timepieces. By 1977, the design was reinterpreted by Gérald Genta, giving birth to Bvlgari’s first full-fledged signature watch collection. With its distinctive double logo bezel, inspired by ancient Roman coin engravings, and its clean, architectural lines, the BB quickly became a favorite of celebrities and creatives around the world.

Now, five decades later, Bvlgari pays homage to that legacy with the release of four new BVLGARI BVLGARI models—crafted in yellow and rose gold, and available in two sizes. The watches feature rare marble dials in shades of “Verde Alpi,” “Blu Incanto,” and “Azzurro Infinito”—each a stunning work of natural art. The use of marble, revered by the Maison and deeply embedded in Roman architecture, showcases Bvlgari’s masterful fusion of materials and techniques. Each dial is shaped from a single stone slab, ensuring that no two pieces are alike.

The 38 mm models feature automatic Solotempo movements, while the 26 mm variants are adorned with diamond hour markers. All four are engraved with a special anniversary insignia, making them true collector’s pieces. As Product Creation Executive Director Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani explains, “The BVLGARI BVLGARI watch is both simple and bold, always in tune with the times… revisiting the spirit of its original creation, subtly enhanced by modern technology.”

The celebration doesn’t stop at watches. Bvlgari is also launching a new suite of BVLGARI BVLGARI jewelry pieces that revive its emblematic flip ring and dual-material disks. From a sautoir necklace with reversible mother-of-pearl and onyx disks to chunky handmade chains and contemporary wire bracelets, the anniversary jewelry collection reaffirms the brand’s flair for reinvention. Seamlessly uniting Bvlgari’s past, present, and future, these creations pay homage to a legacy that continues to shape the language of luxury.
