Over five years ago, the Neuhausen am Rheinfall based watchmaker started the development of an entirely new and unique product line. The initial idea was to design a steel case model with an integrated bracelet. The notion of fluidity and continuous curved lines quickly became inextricable. The name of this collection was an obvious choice: it would be Streamliner, after the first high-speed trains from the Twenties and Thirties whose rounded and aerodynamic curves it evokes. This year, at the W&W 2020, the new line made its debut.
Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic
The all-new model’s all-new movement is the first automatic chronograph with a central display to feature a flyback function for the minutes and seconds. It is considered to be one of the best ever made. The 42.3 mm steel cushion case is designed as a sculptural piece, featuring harmonious proportions and beautiful aerodynamics. The watch revisits the brand’s signature fumé dial featuring a new anthracite shade of grey.
