In the heart of Schaffhausen, where horological heritage meets modern refinement, IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled a new chapter in its story: IWC. Curated. More than a collection, it is an offering of carefully selected historical timepieces, each chosen by experts from the IWC Museum and restored with meticulous precision by the maison’s most experienced vintage watchmakers. This initiative brings collectors and connoisseurs closer to some of the most significant eras in IWC’s history, reintroducing icons of design and engineering with a renewed promise of authenticity.
Each watch under the IWC. Curated. label undergoes an exacting restoration at the Schaffhausen headquarters, where decades of watchmaking knowledge and access to extensive archives ensure every detail is respected. Original cases, bracelets, and movements are examined and, where necessary, restored using period-correct components. With access to IWC’s deep reservoir of spare parts from every model ever produced in Schaffhausen, vintage specialists can return each piece to as close to its original condition as possible, ensuring continuity between past craftsmanship and present ownership.

Among the watches available are milestones that have helped shape the maison’s legacy. An original Ingenieur SL, Reference 1832, designed in the 1970s by legendary watch designer Gérald Genta, speaks to the golden era of Swiss luxury sports watches. Equally significant is the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph (Ref. 3750) from 1985, the first IWC timepiece to integrate Kurt Klaus’s ingenious perpetual calendar mechanism, crown-controlled and revolutionary in its efficiency. Also included is the Navigator’s Wristwatch Mark 11, manufactured in 1952 for the British Royal Air Force, embodying the robust utility and engineering precision that have long defined IWC’s professional instrument watches.
Each IWC. Curated. watch comes with official certification, verifying authenticity and provenance, and carries the IWC International Limited Warranty, extendable to eight years upon registration. The promise is clear: these watches are not only revived artefacts of design and history but also prepared for new lifetimes of wear, collecting, and storytelling.

The programme launches exclusively in select boutiques, including Schaffhausen, Battersea Power Station in London, Dubai Mall in the UAE, and Ginza in Tokyo. These spaces offer enthusiasts the chance to experience the curated timepieces in person, surrounded by the atmosphere of craftsmanship and innovation that has defined IWC since its founding in 1868 by American engineer Florentine Ariosto Jones.
For collectors who wish to pursue something specific, IWC also offers a sourcing service to locate and procure individual references. It is a bespoke approach to collecting that highlights not only the maison’s mastery of horology but also its commitment to transparency and trust, providing a reliable channel for historical acquisition in a market often clouded by uncertainty.

With IWC. Curated., the brand underscores its philosophy of crafting watches built to last generations while continuously honouring its heritage. More than a revival of the past, it is an invitation to carry forward a legacy of ingenuity, design, and refinement into the future. As IWC strengthens its reputation for sustainable luxury, advanced materials, and timeless design, IWC. Curated. bridges eras—offering pieces of history that feel alive, ready for their next chapter on the wrist of a modern collector.
